  1. Hello misspriss, sorry no, the only option available would be a region-rollback (can be requested via live chat https://support.secondlife.com/start-chat/ which is only accessible for premium members) but since the objects were worn, that wouldn't help in your case. The only thing you can do is to explain the situation to the creator of your no-mod objects and ask them to replace them (nicely).
  2. To clarify: do you see yourself as a cloud, or do others see your avatar as a cloud?
  3. Hello lilmisslara, I'm not sure what you mean. You can just switch to another avatar, or take everything off your avatar and attach the clothing items one after another. The easiest way to take everything off is the 'Character Test' (this will revert your avatar appearance back to the default avatar): press the keyboard-shortcut Ctrl+Alt+Q for Develop menu. Then go to Avatar -> Character Tests -> Test Female (or Male). Please note that you need a new, SSB-enabled viewer in order for everyone to see your avatar correctly. There is *no* way to be seen by others correctly without a new SSB-enabled viewer. You can download the latest Second Life viewer here: http://secondlife.com/support/downloads/ And here's a page with links to Server-Side-Appearance-capable third-party-viewers: https://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Third_Party_Viewer_Directory For more information, see: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Featured-News/Project-Sunshine-Goes-Grid-Wide/ba-p/2148427 Good luck!
  4. Hello America, you should definately clear your cache and relog again. Also give your avatar's textures a while to load. Make sure you really have the latest version of the viewer: http://secondlife.com/support/downloads/ As you will need it in order to be able to see avatar-textures, the baking-mechanism of avatar-textures has been changed this week from client-side baking to server-side baking, which reduces load times by at least 50% (at least for your own avatar). But therefore you will also need a server-side-baking capable new viewer version. To clear your cache go into the viewer menu Me-> Preferences, and click the 'Clear Cache' button from the 'Advanced' tab. Then shut down the viewer and log in again. If you are still having issues, teleport to another region and repeat the above steps. If you then are *still* having issues, try to change something on your outfit (which will automatically force a server-side rebake of your avatar's appearance). As a last option, take off everything, and put on each clothing item one at a time, to see which item causes the blurriness. Good luck! To add additional information, use the 'options' menu at the top right of this page, to edit your original question. (so everyone can read it)
  5. Hello ZatannaZatara, that message "cannot be accessed from this computer" is the usual message that someone gets who has been hardware banned by Linden Lab. In that case you would have received an email. But if - like you said - you are able to login with Imprudence, then it's very likely that the hardware ban was in error because your avatar is still active. So you should contact support directly and ask them to clarify your situation: https://support.secondlife.com/contact-support/ If support tells you that you are not banned, you can try logging in with the old Imprudence viewer, until your issue is figured out: http://wiki.kokuaviewer.org/wiki/Imprudence
  6. They can contact support here: https://support.secondlife.com/contact-support/
  7. Hello omnesvanitas, you could give bvhacker a try, I'm not absolutely sure it can do it, but it's worth a shot. If that doesn't work out and you don't find a tool for this task, you could edit the bvh files manually (they are plain text files).
  8. Hello CoryAllen, did you try in different regions? In case you have a premium account, you can contact support at: http://support.secondlife.com/contact-support Try to deactivate your firewall and antivirus software (make sure secondlife.exe and slplugin.exe are whitelisted in your firewall and antivirus). Do you have the option to log in from another computer and see if it works there?
  9. Hello LouenCouer, you can specify your maturity rating-settings in the viewer. Press CTRL+P to go to preferences, and change your maturity-level in the 'general' tab.
  10. Hello Milo, this is probably not the best place to ask for Firestorm support. How about this: http://www.firestormviewer.org/support/ Or try the in-world support group for Firestorm: https://my.secondlife.com/groups/3a1be8d4-01f3-bc1a-2703-442f0cc8f2dd Good luck!
  11. ~ Rigamortis Titanium wrote: on ‎07-10-2013 04:41 PM thank you martin...that worked. Why does it do that? You're most welcome! It's a bug in Singularity (probably merged from an older Linden Lab Viewer) that should be fixed in the next version, as far as I've been told.
  12. Hello scomes3, try a different browser, and log out and log in again. Make sure you're logged in to the correct account.
  13. Hello Natallliee, this porta potty obviously has gotten your permissions to make your avatar sit on it. So sadly to me it seems you can't stop it - if you don't ask the owner of the land or the porta potty to remove / reset the device. The only option to make it stop (assuming that you are not using an RLV-enabled viewer which is specially designed for these devices and this is *not* a RLV-porta-potty) is that you already sit down on something when you go into this sim, before the porta-potty catches you.
  14. Hello Mister Acacia, is it https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/BUG-1506 maybe?
  15. @Lindal you can withdraw money to *any* paypal account afaik (not limited to verified accounts).
  16. Hello TOKILO, in addition to what Rolig said, also make sure your computer has the latest graphics drivers. And check if SecondLife or slplugin.exe are whitelisted in your antivirus software. Also make sure you are using the latest version of Second Life from http://secondlife.com/support/downloads/ Have you tried to log in to a different region? Maybe you can log in with a different avatar / account? If you are a premium member you can contact support about the issue: https://support.secondlife.com/contact-support/ ETA: There are some other viewers that you can try: http://virtyou.com/viewer_track/
  17. Hello again, like Rolig said, Skydrive - and also iTunes - can cause the file-picker- dialog to fail. You can try if it works when you uninstall these apps.
  18. Hello j4m3zc4tch3r, please see http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Login-failure/ta-p/700109 for troubleshooting tips.
  19. Hello Treyu, you can ask any member of the group with invitation-capabilities to re-add you to the group. If this is the first time this happens, from what I know you should get your owner-capabilities back automatically once you've re-joined the group (that doesn't seem to work a second time, though). If there is no-one in your group with powers to invite you, then you should contact support. If you're not a premium member you could consider (if it's important for you) to become premium-member for at least 1 month (costs less than 10$) so that they process your issue at support. (Basic support doesn't help you with this type of issue).
  20. Hello LoveAngel, there's nothing we can do - this is a residents-forum. I'm sorry to say, but your L$ are most likely gone, if you can't talk to the person who received them and ask them to give the money back.
  21. Hello billybainsmistress, only the scripts will not do it. You also need the positions of the poseballs (usually stored in a notecard), the poseballs themselfes, and the animations! If you bought a sex bed without all of that, you might possibly have been ripped off!
  23. Hello mysteriousdots, you can still choose your preferred payment option at checkout - which includes your L$ balance. Here's a little more information: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Commerce/Marketplace-Now-Uses-Second-Life-Payment-System/ba-p/2059141 http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Billing/ta-p/700037#Section_.3 Regarding your second question: since Linden Lab is the only buyer of L$ since a month or so, it takes the full 5 business days for your payment to proceed to paypal, currently. I hope this will change soon.
  24. No. But you can let Linden Lab pay out your Lindens to your real-life money-account, and then use the US-Dollars to pay your land fees. Thanks for correcting me, Muletta Ignore my above comment
