Woohoo! Free Inventory Preview pictures in the SL viewer!

The official LL post says we can now take inventory preview pictures for free.

It also describes a single folder view option.

Discuss what you think of this. How long will it take for Firestorm to add these features too?

This is interesting, thanks for sharing it!

You can't already select an Inventory folder, right-click and "Open as new Window"?

That's what the "Single Folder View" sounds like..Guess I didn't know!

I think this might be different than "Open as a new Window".

These option are not in the official viewer yet, but in a beta viewer that people can download to try.

I assumed so, but I could not comprehend what the difference is. 🙂

As per LL (and FS) policy we will not add features until they have been considered mature enough for a full release by LL (otherwise we end up with a lot more regressions).

It'll be interesting to see how this scales to large inventories, it is definitely a long-awaited feature and assuming it works well will be in great demand.
