Hello! I am an old secondlifer, but I'm not out and about much. However, I do like shopping & buying cute stuff. I used to load lindens into my SL with my card, but now I have a sick father to take care of and cannot splurge as I used to on my hobbies. So now looking for a SL job that can make decent L$ to spend inworld and I know for a fact that there are 4 options: Being a mesher (desginer), being an outstanding scripter, being a landlord or being an escort. From all of those, I can only pick the one that is easier for my RL knowledge and routine and that is being an escort. I have applied in some clubs but none call me back :( I don't know how or where to meet the right people to be a sugarbaby. Can anyone point out at some sort of 'right' direction? I will be grateful. I know new clubs accept people more quickly, but they have almost zero visitors. I've tried escort oasis and tramps to freelance, but I don't seem to have what it takes to catch anyone. Are there any escort teachers/mentors out there? Pleeeease, heeeeelp! Thank youuuuuu ♥

To be perfectly honest, there are more escorts/escort clubs in SL.than there is demand for them.  It's just NOT the big business it used to be.  

Have you tried hosting jobs instead of escorting?  Plenty of those types right in this section.

Some clubs will train hosts.  It's really not that hard.  Greeting people as they arrive, engaging with the guests. 

Escorting takes a whole other skill set.  Emoting skills usually being the most important.  Playing the role.  Hosting, you just be yourself and have fun.

There are a number of popular clubs with hosting applications front and centre in their entryways right now. I saw three yesterday as I hopped from one to the next, so I'd also suggest trying to find a hosting gig instead of escorting.

Escorting, as you found out, is either in anonymous places crowded with dozens of girls and an exceedingly large female:male customer ratio, or small clubs that come and go, or only have a few men drop in from time to time, where you still might be competing for his attentions with your other escort/dancer friends who are on duty. Plus most of those clubs have minimum hours needed and applications and interviews. It's ERP, it's not that hard.

Plus from the guys perspective, it's way to easy anymore for a horned up dude to simply hit one of the sexually themed sims for a freebie, though the cache of an "escort" is still fun for some guys to RP. Heck, until they read my profile I get hit on all the time in even non-sexual sims for flirting and more (as you know, it's the red hair). The heyday of escorting in SL is well past, I think.

Find some clubs you like, hang out a bit and watch how the hosts engage, sense the crowd and atmosphere to judge if it's right for you, and then reach out to those same hosts and ask about opportunities, even if they aren't posted at the entrance. Good luck!

Hello Allegra!  

My Sim is currently hiring for several positions and we are willing to train.  We have hourly pay + commission sales rep/host (restaurant host) positions for our two restaurant locations, also several host positions for our live singers at our Tavern, and that offers a pay per shift plus 100% tips.  We also have RP server and Spa staff positions that pay per booking and we can train for :)  So we definitely have several non Escort positions that offer pay opportunities!  If you are interested, you can apply here - Deviant Dragon Sim Application

If you actually go to that club though, it's a few girls on poles and a bunch of bots on a platform.  Standard operating procedure for almost all escort clubs in SL.

I've stopped by a few.of the clubs advertising for escorts.  I've also visited the few at the top of search.  They almost always have a dozen or more (often many more) bots parked somewhere on the parcel.  The club might have a girl or two working but I've only seen one place with an actual client.
