Can't rez on new land I purchased

I purchased and ajoining parcel of land and can't rez on it.  I get a lock icon with a circle and a slash.  I thought I had my settings right but I guess not.  Any ideas?  Thank you.

Does your name show as owner in the land info?
If not, something went sour in the purchase process.

With some rentals there is a lag in permissions. Groups have to be given or landlords or something. I'm not an expert and can't give any real advice, I just know in the past sometimes I had to wait at least 24 hours before someone, somewhere, pushed some button.

Is it mainland or private SIM?

 

If mainland contact support for help, or it's a private sim ask the estate owner.

Is it a parcel on the Mainland or on a  private island?

Did you buy as an individual or as a group?

Are you wearing the right group tag?

Does it have mesh landscaping so that mesh bounces on mesh?

Are you right in the center of the land attempting to rez on that parcel and not another?

Thank you, everybody.  The seller contacted me, the rez box was missing from my purchase.  She sent me the rez box and all is well.

Just a guess: they purchased a thing / house / build to Rez, and that's what wouldn't Rez on their new land.
