I need someone who is far more fashionable than I am to help me with a dress/cute outfit.

My current style is basically anything from the store Tres Blah. Cute and classy. I usually stick to black, purple and wine colors.

I’m looking to jazz things up a bit. A party/cocktail dress, a romper, maybe dressy shorts/skirt and a nice top.

I have a Maitreya body. I’ve scoured Flickr groups and marketplace and I haven’t found exactly what I’m looking for. Help!

Have you tried Dead Doll? They have lots of luxurious looking party dresses. https://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Dead Doll/57/135/21

Also Pixicat for preppy-ish with an art school kid twist casuals. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/stores/146390

And Secret Store for cute, classy and kind of vintage looks! https://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Polvi/153/129/37

Try Siss Boom. They have some interesting looks and there's a huge wall of lucky letters with some nice dresses. From the landing point, enter the store, turn left then go straight ahead. The store is closed during Sabbath but a special skybox with only lucky letters is then set up during that time. Access to the mainstore is possible again when Sabbath is over.

Thank you! I’ve never heard of this store. I will check it out.

Thanks! It’s been a while since I’ve checked these stores out.

Here is a list of some of my favorites and stores I shop in frequently:

Pixicat

Blueberry (love their jeans)

Addams (similar to Blueberry, also great outfits)

Crybunbun

Bipolar

Eternus

Momochu

Petita

Tetra (everything from there fits perfectly for me)

Supernatural ( love her dresses)

Cosmic Dust

Vinyl

Violent Seduction (this can be more Goth Lolita type)

Asteroid Box ( a bit darker themed but great work)

MUG

I also suggest joining the Fifty Linden Fridays Group, the Happy Weekend by Access group, and check out the weekend events in SeraphimSL.com.

I also love the SoKawaiiSundays group, because even though the general theme is kawaii, you can mix and match lots of things to suit your look.

Most of the above are original mesh, but don't discount some of the template mesh stores, that use mesh someone else creates and texture it with their own textures, etc.

For a cocktail dress, E. Valentina is nice. They make their clothes almost entirely for Maitreya, but if you wear Maitreya, check them out.

You have to look at Blueberry and Addams too, since they both give out store credit as group gifts, which lets you pick what you want to get for free.
