Ernest23
I am terrible at this. So, I made a silly game where if you click on a thing I'm wearing my avatar does an animation. I want this to unseat me if I'm seated so it'll work even if I'm on furniture at the time. Thanks.
Rolig Loon
Sadly, you're not going to be able to do that. The llUnSit function has to be executed in a script in the seat. It's not you who are choosing to stand up. It's the seat that has decided to unseat you. The closest you can come is to script a particular seat to respond to a command from a HUD that you are wearing, or to something else that you activate that sends a triggering message to the seat. That's not going to work on some random seat that you haven't scripted as part of the game. Of course, there's nothing to say that you can't go ahead and click the Stand button in your viewer as soon as someone clicks on you, making it look as if the script had done the job. We'd never tell.... 🙄
Ernest23
Hmm, I feel sure I encountered a spankable behind that made the person jump up from their seat. Thanks

Thanks RLV can unsit you. Animations can also make it look like you're jumping up off the chair, but only visually. The avatar would return to the seated pose at the end of the animation. Lucia Nightfire
You can also unsit people over your own land or if the land if group owned, with a deeded object. @Rider Linden allegedly has work planned to make llUnsit() operate within an experience environment as well as to fix some bugs. Phate Shepherd
Late reply, but encountered a rather ingenious force unseat in the security system of Bellisaria homes. If it can't eject you from the land, it returns the object you are sitting on.... THEN kicks your butt out. Not necessarily an option for OP, but it could be a useful solution in some cases.

Technically as the land owner it could unsit rather than returning the object.

Return the object and kick the person out in the same action

Nova Convair
It's in the description of llUnSit. It's always worth to check the wiki b4 using a function. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlUnSit
