I love the Wishmaster 2 Hud

fidn it really funny to put a group teleport on some one who like 10,000 ft up on other end of a sim and then get the telport on like 3 or more of my friends 

 

if person isnt afk it confuses them soo much also seems like a good way to meet new peoples

 

 

only downside is it only works in areas im allowed to rez so has been a few times i teleported some where and been unable make a teleport back to where i came from or out of where i got sent to if im kicked out of where i teleported to

That is griefing and will get you banned from SL. You can't do that to random people. and if somoen sees you doing that to anyone they can and probably will AR you for it. Even if you are doing it to your "friends" since they have no idea they are your friends.

Let me tell you what I would do if you tried to "meet" me this way. I would start by ARing you, then I would kick and ban you from my parcel (assuming I was home) and finally mute you. Never once would I talk to you I would just do that. In other words its about the worst way to "meet new peoples" I can think of.

 

Spell HUDs belong in roleplay Sims or other combat zones where that crap is expected.

Doing any thing to push, move, block, animate, or teleport an other avatar with out their permission can be considered abuse, or griefing, not every one is going to as nice and just ask you to leave, depends a lot on who and where you do some thing to some one.   If your in a RP sim that allows it your ok, if you try some thing like that at a club your likely to get instantly banned from the club and and might all so have an AR filed on you.

There's a big difference between a lonely newbie who teleports to a platform/skybox not realising what it is, and someone who is actively targeting other avatars as a 'joke'. Practical jokes often end up hurting people (and therefore stop being jokes). And hurting people is even more likely when you don't know the target at all.

It's not enough to say you'll stop if they ask you to. You should consider if it'll upset people before you do it. Most people up high are there to stay out of everyone's way, and won't appreciate a sudden visit.

(On a lighter note, I did have a griefer teleport to me once. He'd been running around in general sims naked and leaving griefing objects. But when he appeared next to me, he fled. There wasn't time to ban him. Maybe he didn't think it was ethical to grief a fungus. I'll never know.)
