User Exception?

Curious enough here please. Can someone tell what is User Exception in regards to the delivery status. I did do a search but perhaps I didn't look in all the right places. So I have come to the river of knowledge... who can advise me? :matte-motes-nerdy:

I doubt that I will ever be confused with the river of knowledge, but, it does appear this issue has come up a few times recently

Not having enough money seems to be one explanation...another mentioned is a java runtime error. Maybe one of these links will help you

For the record, user exceptions, as a pattern so far, are not a current component of my conspiracy theory.

I wonder if something is going on. I have had a "User Exception" only rarely if ever, and today I have 2.

Ok, just had my 3rd User Exception of the day and this time the person tried to buy the item 7 times, all User Exception. She finally went to the store inworld and bought the item, so she DOES have the lindens in her account.

I noticed a lot of these 'user exceptions' so I contacted one of the clients, and this is what she said:

"It wasn't an issue with your service. I was having issues buying anything from the marketplace, and I had incorrect amounts of lindens showing up on on their server, and SL."

 

So it's a MP issue that seems to be yet another by product of the 'improvements' being made atm....

I am also going to make a JIRA for it and will post the number there when it is done.

I feel your pain Tilly.  From the 1st of August my SLM (aka MP) sales have collapsed to under 50% of the extremely consistent weekly sales I enjoy for over a year prior to August.  They have not recovered (i.e. its now becoming clear that this was no summer slump as some have suggested).  Then this week my sales have slowed down even more.  In fact yesterday I made ONE SALE in MP!! And that one sale was a Freebie Demo.

ONE SALE!  I cant remember the last time my daily MP sales have slumped to $0L REVENUE!

Thanks LL Commerce Team... All your excellent work on improving MP has pretty much destroyed my SL MP business.  Its pretty bad that my inworldz sales are now rivalling SL sales.  Never thought that would ever happen.  The LL Commerce Team has made this happen.

Having read some more, I'm beginning to see a possible conspiracy angle.

We could rule it out by collecting demographic data on the users who are being excepted.

But can we get that?
