"User Exception" on Order Status? What is the latest consensus on what this means please?

Hi guys :)

Just the last week i have had 2 orders fail due to "User Exception" - from reading previous posts it appears that the explanation may be that the would-be purchaser did not have enough funds. However, one of the "user exceptions" was for a freebie item.

Does anyone kow whether there has been an explanation from LL for this term please?

User Exceptions are a Java Runtime error.  What that means is that data did not get compiled, was missing or timed out during the process.  It has little to do with what you do or your users and is moreover an error between the systems where they didn't get the proper data responce.

Sometimes this can come if your magic boxes are on laggy sims, other times, it could be just the end users network. 

I am sure there are other causes that I don't know but in the end, you've done nothing wrong and it normally just means, Try Again Later.
