How do I stop my hands moving when I voice?

My avatar hands and arms are moving all over the place when I am voicing. How can I stop that? And yes I removed every animation on me, went to default avatar and it still does it!

Most likely it is in your AO, and also a basic avatar does it, because it also has a animation set.

taking off animations will not work as you found out... i even wonder how you manage to wear animations other than in a AO

... you need to have a type killer( is in most AO's)  ór (at least in  firestorm) put it off in the preferences

Hi Mika,

Is it possible you've accidentally rezzed an AO in-world, rather than wearing it? It'll still be able to animate you if that happens.

Perhaps the easiest solution is to open your Advanced menu (CTRL + Alt + D) and then its Debug Settings menu.  Type in PlayTypingAnim  and set its value to FALSE instead of TRUE.  Close the window and back out.  Your typing animation will be disabled.

Besides animations, there are two things that can affect this.

The "play typing animation" as Rolig suggests, and also check your active Gestures.  There are some gestures that trigger automatically when you use Voice, unless you turn those off.
