  1. It's not though really. We're customers. As Prokofy pointed out, this is maybe the 6th iteration of the welcome area. I feel like LL should hire outside consultants and game devs at this point for the next one. It's not terrible, but it's not very compelling either.
  2. When I started SL ages ago, a resident named Cubey Terra used to bring newbies for balloon rides. People loved that.
  3. They could have included all kinds of activities to get new users interested, hunts, bowling, whack-a-mole (the game), roller skating, a shooting gallery, rides. Free, interactive stuff aside from gambling. And before this post gets reported, because you know someone will, this isn't me hating on the work the moles have done, these are suggestions for the next iteration of the welcome hub.
  4. Yikes. I dunno man! I was never trained to expect compliments and I'm female too. Anyway, I do feel for Sid it's probably very much a generational, thing.
  5. That's really cool. I know someone who makes houses in sl and they say the decorated models always sell best. Interesting how this guy places things too, a lot of multi selecting and moving around.
  6. Nifty tool, but we're talking about texturing the actual terrain.
  7. I love this idea too but as Qie pointed out, the concern is that'll it'll end up looking like a weird quilt.
  8. When's the last time a thread made it more than a few days in general?Guys. Ladies. Whatever. Come on. Stop reporting each other. And stop the passive aggressive thread making about each other under the guise of sanctimony. I would laugh because it's getting so ridiculous but I used to like coming here. I'm sure it's running new users off.
  9. I'm sorry this happened to you, a smiliar thing happened to me. Ideally there's a balance between being a fan of something and losing perspective to the point where you're attacking people if they have anything negative to say about the thing you're a fan of.
  10. Just generally, if you become so wrapped up in something, it can lead you to lose perspective and behave in ways you may not normally.
  11. Here's a link about toxic fandom which some others have mentioned. https://www.verywellmind.com/what-is-toxic-fandom-5214499 "when fans feel threatened, either by other fans or the owners and creators of a piece of intellectual property, they may lash out in defensive and so-called toxic ways."
  12. Thanks, Luna, it was the flagged words. I edited the link and it went through
  13. I don't have apple music service either and i was able to listen to it.
  14. This was fun to listen to thanks! I don't think I've ever heard Hamlet speak before. The host : "I've known about it forever but never really ...done it" LOL
