  1. Have you "opted in" to view adult content? How to opt in to view Adult content Even if your account is verified to view Adult-rated content, you may still need to opt in. You also need to use Viewer version 1.23 or later to access the maturity preferences. Download the latest Viewer. Tip: At the top of your Viewer, you can choose Help > About Second Life to check your Viewer version. Log into Second Life, then follow these steps in the Viewer to set your maturity preferences: Choose Me > Preferences (or Ctrl-P) and click the General tab. Choose General, Moderate, Adult from the I want to access content rated: dropdown menu. Click OK. Congratulations! You may now visit any publically accessible land in Second Life, regardless of its maturity rating. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Accessing-Adult-land-and-content/ta-p/805975#How_to_opt_in_to_view_Adult_content
  2. Click Edit/Preferences (or Ctrl+P) to open Preferences. In the chat tab, uncheck Play typing animation when chatting. Personally, unless I'm in a photo shoot or something like that, I like to use a typing animation replacement like my Blackberry. :smileywink: Edit: Changed File to Edit.
  3. Find someplace where you can rez objects (friend's land, sandbox, etc) and drag the box containing the demo to the ground. Right-click and select Open. A popup will open. Click Copy to Inventory. Voila. Edited typo.

  7. Seriously? Is the "regard" that you get for people petting your Meeroos really worth paying for? P.S. Three posts in four days looking for people to do this is a bit much. Why not let people respond to ONE ad?
  8. @Luc: The first request was to contact a different person. @Blazer: If your friend (?) IMs you and your offline IMs go to your e-mail, you can simply reply and the person will receive it inworld. In any case, your friend (?) will probably be more than sympathetic and understanding that you crashed and were unable to contact him/her. Maybe he/she will even wait for you to get back online. :smileywink:
  9. This is the second such request you've made in three days. Why not just go ahead and put your e-mail address in your profile?

  16. I'm pretty sure live chats are all logged, and if his/her supervisor(s) have a problem with his responses, he'll be sat down and talked to. Your insistence that "he meant exactly what he said" simply isn't supported by that log. But, you go ahead and rage on. *clicks unsubscribe*
  17. Fine. That Scout deserves to be crucified because he/she omitted eight words from their response. You win.
  18. Cabbage Acanthus wrote: Well, what else would you call it? Probably none of those things, but if I had to pick one... unprofessional. For neglecting to add "... or the executor/executrix of the resident's estate." The rest? I just don't see it.
  19. Snide, intentionally callous, unbelievably rude, heartless, unprofessional, mean spirited, spiteful, baiting, troll jerk? You got all that from that?
