Trying out some of my new Blueberry purchases

Tonight I went to Islands of New England to enjoy some live music. The place was so pretty, everything was so awesome looking. I would advise checking it out if you haven't already been there. Nice place for a romantic stroll or to hang out by the water. And I'm in yet another white outfit... funny because I almost always wear black.

I went to a Gabriel da Silva concert at the Hard Rock Garage. Nice place, very authentic looking. Rockin the new boots I picked up earlier today. More pics of the venue on my Flickr page.

I just picked up these C & S Rubby boots today, They come with various mesh sizes and are a two part boot (lower & upper) w/ a color hud that will change the boot, laces/straps and metal colors individually. Wearing them with Blueberry Cake leggings (under boot version)

So I was reading the thread on what was acceptable for the Crystal Ball, and it got me all nostalgic and trying on some old looks. First of all, I "thought" I had an okay system body before I got mesh... wow... I had forgotten how chunky the system body was. Anyway, this is me in one of the first skins that I actually purchased, Horizon Series Porcelain Casual Goth by Max., some freebie or cheap CS Streamer II hair, and an outfit from SF Design called Cordelia (w/ glitch pants and flexi skirt). The necklace was from when they made them on the undershirt layer. I have to say, in remembering back, this was probably one of the best fitting flexi skirts that I ever owned. I remember constantly messing around with most of them trying to get them to hang right. And no not going to the ball, just playing dress up with clothes from the attic.

Saturday morning dress down day and last night playing around with filters and lighting effects

Going to a new club later tonight so I thought I'd check it out in advance. While I was there, figured I relax by the water for a photo op.

I hear you... just today I had my one male alt out, dressing him up in some of the free stuff I got at the Kauna sale... and I'm looking at the Jake demo in his inventory and so wanted to go buy him a mesh body... but no, I can't start down that road or I'd have to stop buying stuff for myself *grins*

I bought these when I still had Slink feet, now I have the Belleza mesh body. They mostly still fit. There's just a speck of skin that shows through on the outer ankles. Not too noticeable unless you cam in. KO-H Goth Girl Killer Heels

I just got this cute little dress today. Comes with a 12 color change hud, but only the parts that are purple in my pic change color. Only 50L.

I like a variety of styles. While I do like to dress sexy a lot of the time, I prefer things that are form fitting, clingy, or things that offer a slight "glimpse" of the goods. Outfits that are a little flirty but still on the classy side. I'm not really a fan of jeans cut so low your crotch is practically hanging out and your butt crack is there for the world to see. I'd rather have my pants either high wasted or slightly below the navel, depending on whether I'm aiming for dressy or casual. I can't really say that I dress for male attention as I'm not looking for an SL relationship at this time. And to be honest, I don't get hit on all that much. Occasionally I might get told I have a nice outfit or a nice avatar. But then I don't get flirty, I'm kind of on the shy side and don't want to lead anyone on. I just like to dress to make myself feel attractive. What woman doesn't?

@jeremy123 Did you go to your Jake HUD and click on layers... then click on the mask icon next to the layer you are trying to fix? I'm no expert on this stuff, but that worked for me on Isis.

Not much help to the OP, but I have to say, a sky platform is a nice middle ground. I used to rent quite a good portion of a sim, it kept snowballing for me... I started with my own plot and as I got more and more perturbed with neighbors that didn't match my aesthetic (some were downright junk piles), I started adding on to my plot as the rentals became available, just to insulate myself from such stuff. I had a beautiful property with a castle, and a crypt, a hedged in garden with cute little nooks and crannies, a guest house, and on and on. Eventually I couldn't afford it any more because I became a prim addict and had to give it up. My next place was just a skybox. It was fine, but I did miss being able to go outside my house and walk around. After that landlord retired, I found a place that rented sky platforms. I purchased the same style of skybox that I used to rent and after a little retexturing of the outside to make it look like a building and adding a front door with a teleporter script to the inside, I had my home with a terrace. The platform has a couple boxes on one corner that lets you change the textures on the platform, the fence (or no fence option) and the backdrop individually so can almost come up with anything that suits your fancy. Anyway, just a thought. A platform won't fulfill your desire for a community, but if that plan doesn't work out, it could be an option for the short run.

Took the alt out to snap a couple pics. He's pretty basic, system body and mostly free or cheap clothes. I don't bring him out often enough to put much money into him.

wow, thank you... I had this same issue with Belleza Isis and had just given up on trying to wear two tattoos at once. Just tried your solution and now its all good.
