Dementia Obviate

So I was playing around with that How-Old thingy and it said my Altamura av was 5-8 years old. Having no concerts to attend tonight, I figured I'd try making her into a kid for a few giggles and pics. Unfortunately, I didn't have any shirts that didn't show cleavage or belly, so I took a few headshots.

I started my Second Life almost 12 years ago. An internet friend introduced it to me as "something I might like" and just kind of left me there after the first night. I probably would have stumbled along for a long time if it hadn't been for a couple that I met at the welcome area. She gave me some outfits and a flexi hair and they explained a few basics to me. Then I found all the freebie warehouses and started experimenting with fashion... sometimes badly. I also found a sim called Cyberpunk City in my travels and discovered that I liked industrial music... something I had never been exposed to before. While hanging out there, I met a new friend and after one of the sim managers chased us off a few times for putting down some seating to chill in, my friend took the initiative to rent a plot of land and throw up a small castle. He invited me to share the place and that was when I found out I knew nothing about texturing, lol... so many times he would log in and I'd have to ask him to fix what I messed up. Eventually he thought it was good idea to teach me a few things about that. After a while, he left SL, so I took over the full rent and stayed there until they sold the sim and I had to move. ? Since then I've had 3 different homes, a small gothic furniture store (pre-mesh days) and briefly stayed in a free treehouse whilst in between homes. I've been partnered twice. One ended badly and the other was due to RL circumstances on his end. I'm SL single but not looking because I have someone in RL atm. I've had a select few good friendships over the years, but they've all since quit SL. I've been saddened over the loss of some favorite clubs over the years as well... The Ivy Tower goth club and Club Industry to name a couple, some good times there... and some favorite DJs and musicians who have also left. But life goes on. I'm not anti-social, but I am kind of shy and a bit of a loner now. I identify with a lot of things that were mentioned in the introvert thead. I love decorating my place and my av.... and I take a lot of pics even though I'm an amatuer at it. I am a frugal spender nowadays, so I love group gifts, hunts and perusing the MP. Sometimes you get crap but every once in a while, you'll find a gem or something that works well with an existing outfit to switch it up a little. I spend a lot of time going to live music venues. There's three rock musicians that I follow regularly. Occasionally I'll go to a goth club on the weekend if I have time. And I like to explore and see some of the beautiful sims out there... and finding new photo spots. I've never really taken much of a break from SL because I love it here. I only have one male alt which I only bring out occasionally to dress up to take pictures with. Very rarely does he leave the apartment. I'm drama free and that's the way I like it. In RL, I'm from Northeastern US. Not much more of interest to tell there. Anyway, happy to meet you all that have shared here.

So I was going through some old pic folders I found on my pc and it seems that there was plenty of dancing going on at the Forum hang out back in the day. I don't remember who this person was but maybe some of the old timers will. (cee?)

I'm with you... apparently 99% of my pics suck. I tried numerous pics. Most got single digits or below even though they generated tags like beautiful, sensual, fashion model, and sex symbol. Only one I tried that got in the 90s was the free Altamura avatar in her underwear and tank top. ?

I didn't have any concerts to go to tonight, so I roamed the grid a bit. First a stroll through Delacruz Park and then over to the tea & pastry shop at New England Village.

Thank you for the compliment, but I can't take much credit. 1. It's not my true avatar. It was a hunt gift from Altamura that I tried out for a week or so. 2. That's the way she came, right out of the box, and it was free. I only adjusted her height a little bit. 3. I wasn't about to go buy a whole new wardrobe for her, but some stuff I have fits if I play around with it... a medium classic mesh here, a Slink Hourglass there, etc. I did have to buy some 5L panties because nothing I had fit right down there. 3. I'm back on my regular avatar now, but I'll most likely bring her out once in a while to take pics.

So I picked up both the male & female complete mesh avatars yesterday at Altamura for the WOH & MOH event. I have only modded the height, torso length, and leg length on Emanuelle because she was a real giant. Cute av though for playing around with in photos. I'd be afraid I'd get carded if I took her out to the club. With Tommy on my alt, I did just the opposite. I left the body as it was and tried to remold his head to look more like my alt's system head. It's still hard to compare without the facial hair. It makes him look way younger.
