I just tried the free Maya head from Altamura just to check it out. While it's not something for "me" because I'm happy with my system look and I only crave the expressions of bento, I can understand how it might be useful to someone just starting out. It takes years of tweaking to get your perfect look with the system head and like was mentioned, it'll give her practice.

On the ground level directly below my sky platform is a beachy area with the stone path that leads down to a gazebo and then the rental office. I took a stroll down there to try out my new swimsuit which is a group gift from Petite Mort.

I've been renting a sky platform for quite some time now. The space is rated Moderate. The sign in the rental office boasts Privacy Mode and claims that others can't see you if they cam in, though I've never tested this out. It also says it has a private voice channel, but I've never used it. There's a few things nestled in one corner of the lot... radio, texture changer for the platform & fence, a control for the backdrop scenery, rental box, teleporter to the main office. They're pretty unobtrusive though. You can choose from various sceneries or choose to have none at all. Or no fence. I'm paying 570L a week for a 40x40 platform with a 350 prim allotment. They do offer a smaller lot for cheaper, but those are all rented out atm. If it' anything you might be interested in, I mention the rental company in my inworld profile under picks and then Home Sweet Home.

Golden Girl... I picked up a few dollarbies last night. The top is part of a 2 piece jumpsuit and was a pretty good match to a dollarbie skirt I got a couple months ago.

I'll start out by saying I'm an a 11 yr old newb, so please bear with me. As I said in another thread, I'm looking forward to getting a LeLutka Bianca head at some time in the distant future, but in the meantime I'm trying to make a mental wish list for things that I might need or want. I have the Belleza Isis mesh body and I've been working with the demo LeLutka head. Playing with the shaders on my body, I've gotten it to a pretty close match, skinwise. There are differences of course if you study it long enough, but as long as I'm dressed in something not too skimpy, it's a passable match. But for the heck of it, I decided to drop by the Glam Affair store to see what was available and what the cost would be, since the head info said they were using Glam Affair skin. Anyway, I went to the Belleza section. They had the tone I would need, but it says that it's for Belleza Venus. Is it going to matter that my body is Isis? I wouldn't want to find out my nipples were in my cleavage or something, lol. Again, I'm just in the information gathering process. This step is a long way down the road for me. Thanks in advance for any info.

I found a couple more that are fairly old, at least 2007 or earlier. The first one is in my first home so was probably closer to my birth. The other one is in my second castle, so a bit later. I just remembered how much I hated it when you had bell sleeves and all you could see is flesh colored interior unless you wore dark arm warmers under it.

I had myself convinced that I was happy with my system head. I felt that through the years it had evolved into something I was happy with... but I found myself missing having expressions. I've had a couple of Catwa demos and a couple of LeLutkas in my inventory for a while, just to see what all big deal was. Unfortunately for me, I started playing with the Catwa first. Omg, I was not happy with them at all. I thought they were close to what I was looking for when I saw them in the store, but they didn't resemble "me" at all once I put them on. So I thought, nope, not for me. Then I started reading this thread and it got me interested again. This time I took out the LeLutka Bianca bento head. Once I modified the shape with my body measurements from the neck down, I was amazed at how close it was right out of the box. And I thought the HUD was rather easy to navigate too. I picked up a 5L eye color applier to try to get closer to my fav Ikon eyes and a few lipstick demos from Pink Fuel and I think it's looking alot like the system me, only better. Now I just have to wait until I can actually afford it because money is pretty tight right now, but I am finally mentally ready to go full mesh now. Here's a few comparisons with my most commonly worn hairstyles.

After reading a suggestion for Oubliette in another thread, I dropped by and picked up a ton of demos and got this outfit for free on the lucky letter boards. And wow, what a beautiful property. I just had to go back and take some pics.

In November 2006, I was born as a cybergoth, but I was unable to find any pics... I probably didn't know how to take one, lol. But the left side of this pic is me in December 2006 and the right is from like a week ago.

@Chic Aeon Vertigo is using a full system body and head and I bought his skin and beard way back in 2012, so not sure what's available now or if they're still in business... but for the info, he's wearing Nivaro Crow skin in the dark tanned tone, with a Nivaro Trimmed Soul beard in black which is a system tattoo.

Vertigo all dressed up in some of his new Kauna freebies. I love how the tie looks so real on the close up shot.
