  1. You could contact this seller...she says it's a fat pack of colours but omits to say what colours but they can be bought seperately so maybe she can do the colour you want https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Catherine-II-Perruque-FAT-PACK-COLORS-by-Habsbourg-Schloss/4338026
  2. I tend to go for the more natural shape. I guess I'm just your average person that would prefer to be apreciated for what's inside my head rather than go OTT with the pixels, but each to their own, (inside my head can be a pretty scary place though)
  3. Spam in my mail box now the spam has arrived again on the Forum...what a wonderful day this is.

Someone always falls for it, and then a few other sheep people think those people are fashion leaders and start buying it too. Before you know it , it has become a fashion trend and is being featured in all the SL fashion mags and other designers use the look on their models. In the mean time the orginal designers and their imitators have a good laugh all the way to the bank. Come to think of it, this happens in RL too. :smileyvery-happy: Like this? *shakes head and wanders off*
  5. Ariel, thank you so much, I can see a few I 'need' xx
  6. I'm sure I have one, but for the life of me I can't find it in my messy inv...thanks all :)

This one is: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Fashion/What-s-Up-With-Female-Skins-and-Shapes/m-p/1394813#M5516 - That image was done as a joke on it, but the look is more or less like that. The fact that people want to look like that scares, yet amuses me :smileysurprised:
  8. lol, Summer, i doubt they even bother thinking you need a lil help for your rl job... its not a virtual job for them, but their RL one.. so if they wont bother for you, why should you bother for them ? lol.. That said, if you have some time to volunter for helping other ppl in their job for free, im waiting you at the library i manage in RL, hehehehe, i have some volunters already in the team lol... and you are lucky, we are closed till the 20th because of vacations... :smileywink: Lol Trinity I would gladly help but I fear it's a Loooong commute for me each day :matte-motes-yawn:

Im not expecting ppl do my job at the library i manage in RL; i expect workers do the job for what they have been hired. Unless it is a strike... in this case, they must tell us, if they have valuable reasons, i may bring to them my solidarity...who knows ? I thought maybe they needed a little help finding it
  11. I giess you're right Phil, I think I'll go find something productive to do with my time and keep my fingers crossed that it will all be gone by the time I return
  12. I wonder how many times I have to send a message to a mod with the word Spam in it...there seems to be no end to this crap, it just keeps coming...
  13. Profaitchikenz Haiku wrote: I don't see how Linden Lab can be blamed for what looks like a concerted effort. All that I think we can do is keep RIC-ing one message from each usename that is spamming, and let somebody else work out how to detect each new joiner who might have the same location or characteristics as the growing number of blocked accounts. I saw no mention of LL in my post, so you're making assumptions there...but if you can see any system in place that stops this continuous spam porn feel free to point it out to me...
  14. This has been going on for hours now, annoying to have to sift through all the spam continuously, something needs fixing because the non existent system isn't working.

  16. Charly Muggins wrote: Madelaine McMasters wrote: I don't know what the EU VAT rate is, but it looks like it might be north of the UK's 20%. Erm, Europe is NOT one coherent fiscal entity. It makes the USA look politically rational. Well, almost. For clarification, all of the individual self-ruling countries (and even some of the feisty little parts of countries who like to pretend that they have some sort of independence) in the EU determine for themselves their rates of VAT for varying categories of both goods and services. Note that I said "rates", since there is not even necessarily a single rate of VAT within a territory. When you have watched the courts tied up for years deciding whether a Jaffa Cake is a cake or a biscuit for VAT rating purposes you might get an inkling of how little you understand about VAT, or Europe even. It's a cake
  17. Nice people? Good luck with that ..... Seriously though welcome to Second Life, I hope you have a fun time
  18. Like I said, I'm more than happy to be living in the UK...it's not perfect by a long shot, but it's certainly not the worst place on earth to live.
  19. Yeah the cost of living may be higher here in the UK...but I still like living on this little rock, better the Devil you know and all that....
  20. Oh yes Phil...I suppose I could have reeled a list off, we have a pathetic government.
  21. I'm in the UK and I blame my government totally...they tax their own people yet allow American companies to trade here without paying tax (Starbucks, Amazon to name but a few). On the other side of the coin, I spend money in SL through my own choice and I'll pay whatever it is I am wiliing to pay for what I want..nobody has to actually spend any money to use SL , so it's the users choice...don't blame LL for taxes outside of their control...get a letter off to Cameron (don't bother with Clegg he's an idiot).
  22. Ranyart..also..if she ever asks you do you like what she's wearing, tell her she looks beautiful, because we do not ask our men about fashion, we just want confirmation that they still adore us...if I want an opinion about clothes, shoes etc I'll ask another woman
  23. I also wouldn't say anything, if you had seen some of the things my ex used to wear :smileyvery-happy:...but that's what made me love him all the more, because he didn't care, all he cared about was the time we shared together, chatting, laughing and just being himself. I'm ultra picky about my avatar but that's my issue, personally I couldn't care less what anyone else wears, be it freebie skin, clothes, whatever...we are all individuals here and I love that.

I just heard from a friend in London; his teenage son has been making a fortune (for a teenager) bringing drinks and junk food for the photographers outside of the hospital, palace, and other places who are afraid to leave their posts to eat or drink. Not to mention all the bar keepers, hotel staff, and others taking care of the out of town press and tourists. As tempting as it is, I think I'll give the Capital a miss..what with Train fares, noise pollution and all those people, I think I'm better off staying at home
