I'm not one of the 'gamer' crowd so us non RPG'ers use Singularity too. I probably would use Firestorm as it has a few features I miss on Singularity, but my laptop dictates which viewer I use and it has a penchant for Singularity...and it's super easy to use. To the OP,.if you want a V1 style viewer then Singularity is about as close as you can get. but try a few viewers to see which runs best on your PC/Laptop, because you may find that the Viewer you like best won't be the best one for your computer.

Hi Sweet, it's so nice to hear you're enjoying your SL experience. There are several ways you can get a home... Rent one, take a look around, there are lovely places, some are cheap with little or no prim allowance, some more expensive, it's all dependent on what you want. You can rent a sky platform with multiscene, they are always great fun, then you could put your own home there. some people buy them, some make their own. You can rent land and put your own house on it or you could buy land and do the same. It really comes down to how much money you're willing to spend. I have a wonderful home on a private sim that I rent for 600L a week...it's on the waters edge and there is just one other house on the sim, although I do have a few neighbours who live on a ship and in skyboxes. You are more than welcome to IM me in world if you want to chat more, but don't rush into getting somewhere. Think about what you would like, what your budget is then work from there x

You call SL a game, that is one of my pet hates it's not a game as such, but I guess you can call it what you like. I'm pretty much happy with SL, it's changed so much over the years, and mostly for the better...sure there are things that don't quite work as they should, but isn't RL like that too? I'm just wondering if you only see the bad, what keeps you coming back? Is it a hope that it will one day be what YOU want it to be? Or are you just one of those people that 'play' SL so they can complain about how rubbish it is? I love the uncertainty of it all...I'm still excited to see what it will become, and sure, I could kick the heck out of it some days, but mostly I <3 SL

ok, I also had the good fortune to try the Galaxy HUD tonight, it is great, I had so much fun, who would have thought I could play Air Guitar so well Thank you mystery stranger for giving me a great evening on SL :heart: P.S. the one I recommended originally is a brilliant HUD too...today truely has been a fun day.

Well I'm sorry you're having issues with her in RL too, at least when it's just SL you can TP away or log out...how I wish someone would invent a TP machine in RL sometimes I can't comment on why your local Police are reluctant to help, I was under the assumption that they were there to uphold the law, and if you're getting abusive phone calls then that should fall into the 'law breaking' catogory...IDK....

I agree with Jaida here, LAQ offer amazing skins, I just treated myself to a new one after over 3 years of my original LAQ skin. I know at 1900L it wasn't cheap, but I probably won't buy another for years.

I like some aspects of Mesh, furniture is very good and the Land Impact is much lower so that's a plus, I love my new mesh hair, never thought I would find hair that I was happy with so another plus, and also my mesh feet, no more ugly feet when I want to go shoeless, but I have to admit that most mesh clothes are far from satisfactory, I refuse to change my shape just to wear the clothing, my body shape seems to fall somewhere between M and S, but I'm not even sure there is a standard as I have a beautiful skirt from HOC that fits perfectly, but I'm sure given time things will become a lot better and I'll start wearing more and more mesh, until then my inv is bursting at the seams with all the clothes I've bought and loved over the years, so I'll never have to run around SL naked. I use Singularity and have no problem seeing other people's Mesh, and yes, I'm the other side of the pond too, so I have no idea what's going on Phil, SL seems to be running a lot better for me since SSB.

I don't want to make a guess because I think you should keep them, you could just take a step back from SL, don't close your account, then come back in the future...or better still, get out there and meet more people...try some clubs, Welcome Areas too, get to become a familar face at places, you will soon have lots of friends. I hope you decide to give SL a while longer.

I also use Singularity, mainly because it works far better on my Laptop than Firestorm, and it's adeqate for what I use SL for. I remember when V2 was introduced, there was no way I was going to use it, I liked V1 and Snowglobe too much, then I started using Emerald, after that I think it was Imprudence, then Phoenix. The point I'm trying to make here is you can easily adapt to any viewer, you dress it up to suit your needs...it just takes a little time, but it's well worth it in the long run.

Have you tried doing a character test? Sometimes it's the only option left when all else fails.

you will find all the LL Avatars in your Inventory under Library, or just use the inv search and type in Avatar, that should bring them all up.

Another vote for GOS too, I absolutely love their shoes and Docs, worth every penny IMO.
