  1. I honestly don't mind at all. I have no adult furniture out, so they'd probably get bored pretty quick unless they like hedge mazes.
  2. ...If I allowed myself repeats, Contraption would be in so many slots. They've got a good thing going.
  3. A few of the residents have public rezzers out! Look for saddles, bike racks, and signs. They're a bit rare, but they're nice to run into when you're just walking through the neighborhood.
  4. I love my little parcel. It's up on a ridge overlooking the railway, the neighbors are quiet, I'm close enough to hear the waves. But if I could trade it for anything, I'd trade it for this one in SSPE1058. It's right next to a SLRR rez zone.
  5. I only decided to put one in 'cause I have a spare room in the house and may have watched a little too much of the Victorian Way lately. 😛 (Lies, there is no such thing as watching too much.)
  6. Back to my base avatar while working on putting a kitchen I actually like together at home! ...I'm not afraid to admit that there are 7 items from the same store in this shot.
  7. I have a few SL pet peeves, but my pettiest is when folks show up on the first day or so of an event and their avatar's ridiculously complex. I've derendered or set to show friends only so many times. I get wanting to try demos at the event itself, but goddammit, wear something simple if you're not going to show up naked and alpha'd.
  8. Not technically dressed for Fantasy Faire, but I still kind of blend in at Fantasy Faire.
  9. I don't remember how I heard about it or exactly when I first logged in, but I originally joined back in 2006-2007. Can't for the life of me remember my old avatar name or password (I know it was Integra/Integral something or other, I was a big Hellsing buff back then), but I do remember leaving the newbie area and landing in the vehicle sandbox! I distinctly remember exploring that little western town close to it, with another user who'd been there a bit longer. I can't remember his name, but he was really nice. I lost interest after a little while and went back to my usual routine, and a while later I picked it up again- with a new name and face- over a decade ago. One of my friends on an rp forum was into Myst, and there's a small group of fans here! Since then, I've been here off and on. I've played in an sl military, spent time on rp sims, been in groups of people with a similar backstory, been to endless shopping events... but what keeps bringing me back is exploration and building. Give me a winding road to walk or a plot of land to build on, and I'm a happy man.
  10. I'd like the ability to change the colour of the outside trim. There's this really pretty Victorian house uptown in the city I live that looks almost exactly like the Shelley, and it's cream coloured with a reddish trim. I want it. I want it a lot.
  11. Digitize has some trees and some very nice topiaries if you're into that kind of thing, Dysfunctionality carries a lot of groundcover plants, and I really like Jian's plants even though they sell more animals nowadays.
  12. Thank you. 😄 The process was the same with me, lol. Eventually i just went 'ah heck, topiaries it is!' Everything altogether is about 146li. The path is 26 on it's own, and it's a kitbashed version of this set with the Victorian brick texture. I might swap it out for a lighter one, since I'm running low and still need to finish a few rooms in the house.
  13. So, funny story. I ended up researching how to put together a Victorian-style garden. Turns out a big traditional manor house garden takes way too many prims, so I just winged it.
  14. I found this really cute hanging wicker chair on for 10L. I'm currently in a Victorian and have two of these on my back patio, but they'd probably look nice on a log cabin, too.
