We stayed. They will stay. Retention is not really about avatars is it or none of us would still be here. I came in 2007 still here, and evolved from those ghastly avatar's. Retention is about engagement. That will make or break retention. New residents are likely not new to gaming and will work it out just like we all did.

The best hope we have lol is for the new SL Mentors collect a ton of *where to find for free or cheap * notecards to pass them when they land. I am working on one.
