I just picked up the Stone Jacket fatpack from NEVE a little bit ago.. I was dying for this one to get updated.. I think the fatpack was only like $L600. It has the Lara X version and Petite X which I'm wearing in the picture. Also the v5.3 versions. The thing I love also about NEVE besides how good of work they put into their things and the prices is, They'll update their whole store eventually to a new body that they rig for.. And they rig to fit, not rig to not clip.. To me that's really important, because fit is everything.

The linden dollar is a Closed-Loop Digital Currency..It stops short of of being a crypto or a full on fiat currency. Mainly because, users have no financial or legal claim on the linden dollars they hold and they can be revoked or deleted at anytime without a reason. Real world currencies hold a real world value and are property of who holds them at the time as well as can be taxed.. It's not really in the name they choose that sets it's real world value and ownership and tax ability. It's in how it moves and is contained or not contained and it's ownership changing hands and taxable.. The linden dollar never leaves linden lab ownership and never leaves it's virtual bubble.. Virtual currencies are not seen as real money, they are seen as property. So they fall under property tax laws. Us never actually owning them, don't get taxed on them.. hehehe

It's not too bad really if you don't go too crazy with shopping for them all at the same time.. I have three premium accounts, which I pay annually for those at different times of the year.. I might get 10k in lindens on the weekends sometimes more.. then just either spend it on one or if there is something I think all three need that I find maybe in a sale, I'll spread it around.. But I have a limit on how much lindens I'll spend each week.. Each has their own linden home, plus I have my 1/4 sim which i spend most of my time at.. I don't use all of them all the time.. Just when I feel like bouncing to one of them I do, to kind of break up the monotony of being on one account for so long.. When I made my alts, it was more or less just checking out the start areas again to see how much those have changed.. Then later just started to use them.. I never really made them just to have another alt.. But it's not really too expensive if you don't go too crazy in getting lindens and the sales and finding deals can get you pretty far.. I do have my splurge moments though too at times.. heheh

Questions are good!! \o/ I always like your questions Gopi.. They are always so original even though I may come off and never serious in my replies. That's just me being me.. hehehe But I do enjoy the topics you do bring up and look forward to many more in the future, So keep up the goodness..

Ya, I would say, that third one is the worst one of them all.

All I've heard so far is Sensations having a V update for LaraX and VAW having the NIPS updated.. Session say's they are really close with their V and did show some images in the group one night of the V.. It looks like it's built, so they are probably finishing up scripting and animations and deformers and things like that.. As far as where VAW is with thier things.. They seem to keep people pretty much in the dark until they come out and even then I never heard them announce the NIPS update.. lol

I believe it was actually sexual activities and not things like beds and furniture or objects or even regions that may host activities.. Because they could easily be close to those things in a moderate sim as well. or a store or where ever really..

I don't use my alts, Those skanks use meh!! \o/

Oh, I didn't know you could do that with it.. I got it and would wear bom things under it.. hehehe Not sure why I didn't really look too hard at the hud..I get to changing clothes or working on an outfit, I'm like hit-N-run with the huds.. lol

Ya, He had a lot going on.. I just really try not to remember as much cringe as possible from back then.. There was some really creepy videos that we found of his.. Lets just say, the ones that used his product were at more risk than the ones it was detecting.. Just really creepy videos of plans in the works and just a really scary time period.. Brrrr!! hehehe

To be honest, I don't really run into those detectors as much as I used to.. I'll see some and seem to skirt in just around that fine line of good enough.. hehehe And ya, they have really always been a silly thing to me, since height is not really a determining factor.. But there were those that took that route to use.. I don't know if they were just human or not.. I never really stuck around long enough to find out.. I was off to another place, because it just really never came to mind to argue with them.. Don't want me here, Hey you don't have to ask me twice. I'll take those big tips I was dropping at the time, somewhere else.. hehehe

Ya, it's usually just not meeting the height requirements for the sim is all.. Some of those detectors I guess must warn moderators of sims or something.. I'm not sure how they work really.. But I'll get an IM saying I need to add some height.. I mean I can't recall too many really being rude to me, because I don't question their rules.. Most have just asked pretty politely really.. Most anyways.. there was a few arrogant ones.. But I don't let them get to me.. It's as easy and clicking home to deal with.. hehehe

I've pointed it out myself in a zillion threads before, that there doesn't need to be any reason at all.. I was more or less just basically giving a sort of history lesson on why some may be choosing the specific reasons that I was pointing out.. As well as kind of saying, Don't let them rent space in your head.. There is too many places on the grid that will love to have us shorties hangin out, to be sweatin the places that don't know what they're missin.. hehehe Click click, Bang bang, Pow pow, hang hang.. hehehe

It was banned years ago. Also you could bring multiple alts to a sim and not be detected, if they all had streaming media and music disabled.. The key for something like that to work is linking to a server that is outside of second life.. Media on a prim for instance, they could have a linked image anywhere in the sim or parcel.. If you had media enabled, you would connect to that server as soon as you loaded the image on the prim that was linked to the server.. They even had a hud version of RZ, where someone,like a bot could zip around the grid using it as well.. The creator of that was really wacko.. It's not to say that someone couldn't come up with their own version and just not make it so well known.. It's just best to use a media filter anyways that exposes the urls that are attempting to have us connect to them.. the media filters expose the URLS, and we can check them out with our external browser, which won't expose our SL accounts and information they might gather.. Getting your IP is not really a big deal.. I mean there could be a few people on the sim and a DJ see a new IP pop up on the server and you be the only one that landed in the last 20 minutes.. Hey this is your IP Let them try that in a crowded sim, let alone try to match up alts.. They'd probably have to be Rainman like to do that figuring.. hehehe

This guy explains it pretty well.. For some reason, I've typed up something in response like three times and the forum refreshed on me and erased everything I typed, so just putting a video in here instead now that went around back then of a guy explaining how it worked.. The sad scary thing to me is, the official viewer still has all media streaming full on by default and no media filter after all these years.. So new users come in fully exposed on the official viewer.. Aaanyways, here is the video of this guy explaining RZ and how it worked.. ETA: Just to add, If I remember right, there was a TOS change or something at one point in that time period.. So this video may be before that change.. But also this guy was leaving out the privacy violation part of sharing private information with other users.. Which redzone did, because connecting two accounts and then sharing that information in a network of other users, is not sharing personal information.. It's sharing private information with other users about a user.. So he kind of forgot that part.. I mainly used this video because he explains pretty well how it works.. not because of what side he was on.. hehehe

Honestly, you don't even have to look like a child avatar to many people.. Just giving the impression that you are under aged is enough to set some people to clicking the eject button.. There has been a lot of misinformation on what the rules say can determine a child avatar.. LL doesn't look at height of an avatar, but the size.. Basically it's proportions not just one dimension that is part of what they look at.. Then there is profile and actions and logs and so on.. But back when they added the third rating, which was the Adult rating and changed Mature to Moderate.. There was so much misinformation going around that it set off a scare across the grid, then like a year later them shutting down the teen grid and lowering the age limit on who could join the main grid.. This set many land owners on edge and setting their lands to adult to over compensate in case they had things on their land that would be considered Adult content, which many to this day still have no idea where that line from moderate and Adult is.. So we ended up with height detectors and really skidish land owners fearing getting in trouble, not only with LL, but with the law.. It was a terrible time period, which the aftermath still lingers today.. Then a certain recent scandal which I can't go into because we aren't allowed to talk about it anymore.. That may have re-triggered some to be reacting a little quicker these days to the same fears of back then.. Basically, Some land owners will be quick to pull the trigger, just on the hint of fear or it could just be from routine way they have been doing things from over the years.. Some still have the height detectors.. Some still have Sim voting kiosks.. hehehe Vote for our sim and lets get our rating up.. Some places in SL are like going back in time.. There is more than a few places I'm not allowed unless I change my height on my avatar and I have zero child like things that I wear or that are in my profile or actions at all.. I just have to figure, is it worth changing for this place or should I just go to one of the other zillion places on the grid that are just like it.. Most times in the end, those places are just not worth wrecking my day over.. And I'm sure not gonna waste time trying to educate a land owner on what a child avatar is.. Because My time has more value to me than wasting it on a place that just skimmed over the explanations of what a child avatar is.. Mine and your money and time are best spent elsewhere that it's wanted.. Not Wasting getting frustrated over those guys.. hehehe

That's one thing I'm glad of where we are at in TN.. It's kind of like an island in the land.. It's a rock base that when there is earth quakes that it's kind of like waves washing on a beach.. They hit that base and it slows the waves down.. The bad thing is, everywhere that you go around here, at 36 inches in the ground, you hit rock.. We had a storm that hit and blew the tree over at the house we have in town.. The whole root system on the tree wasn't thick at all, it was really wide but not even 36 inches deep in the ground.. I remember watching it slowly fall during the storm as the wind rocked it with gusts.. I could have walked back and forth under it as it was falling probably 10 times before it finally was down.. It was about as fast and that guy in Austin Powers running that guy over with that big barrel machine, where he sat there and screamed for like 5 minutes before getting run over.. hehehe

I have waaaaaay too many Tells to ever be able to hide very good.. lol

Honestly, most people give away their alts in their own actions.. I have a great idea, I'mma have all my alts in the same exact groups, even my own groups that I made and making them officers, put pics in my alts profile from my own land, Say similar things in the About me, Type the same way. like ending sentences with more periods than usual like this.. Poker players call those, Tells.. < see, I did it again.. hehehe Not one single thing would really give much away, but let them start connecting dots and they start to guess.. They won't have solid proof, but a landowner doesn't need any proof really..

I've taken everything that happened in the past in SL and bleached the hell out of it.. I had such an inflated ego for the first couple of years in here.. I think a good humbling that I got, was the best thing that ever happened back then. I remember a lot of events over the years, but really just don't like taking the path back to try and remember the specifics, because of all the cringe I'll cross along the way.. LOL

If you were dense then I was next level dense , Because I didn't even see the cigarette until you said something about it.. The image kind of makes the kitty litter the star.. hehehe

I remember years ago, it happened the other way around and peoples groups they were hiding ended up showing in their profiles.. Wanna talk about Drama on steroids.. hehehe
