I got those textures a while back, though I don't recall which mailbox it was in.

Lots of campers (or one stubborn one) on LP this morning, along with a couple of trads and HBs. I've caught a trad and a HB just randomly clicking (will likely throw the HB back once I log on). I don't expect stilts today or even this week, so am just fishing around to see what I land while we wait.

I don't think you are talking about the Security System. As Moira noted above, the House Controller that is attached to the house next to the front door is not a security orb. It only controls who can open your doors and windows and redecorate the walls, etc. Use the Security System if you want to keep people off of the parcel.

You can't change that setting, so you will have to either add names to the ban list or use the Security System (or another orb that complies with Bellisseria's rules for such systems). The LH Security System can be found by clicking on the mailbox in front of your log home and requesting the Content Creation Pack. Using the Security System, you can set access to a whitelist and/or group only, which seems to be what you are wanting to do. There is an instruction card that comes in the box with the Seucrity System, but it's really pretty easy to set up.

The original sale notice said that an end date will be announced later. I've not yet seen any announcement of an end date. For what it's worth, I went to the in world store last night and had no problems. There were maybe 18 avatars there. I decided to shop in store rather than on MP because I remembered I had an old gift card with a balance on it.

If that white house is the one in Ketran that I'm thinking of, it pops up regularly on the Land Page. I'm not sure why, because it's a great location, but at any rate, I have caught it three times over the past year or so. If I catch it again, I will be sure to let you know before I toss it!

It's worth it to me to avoid having to go to the store in person when it's just a big lag fest and you can't even see anything. Pretty cool that he is giving the group discount for those who are determined enough to brave the mob scene, though! I am just not one of those people. *hugs Marketplace*

AF does sell some naughty things so even those dungeons might have some of his decor! 😂

Have you tried rezzing a new copy of the house?

Weaverton (Vics) now has the yellow hovertext on the parcels. That wasn't there yesterday, so maybe it will be released soon? Ramsgate (Vics) and Triple Time (Vics and log homes), also have the hovertext, but I don't know how long it's been in those regions.

My question was in follow-up to the comment right above mine, which had implied that you cannot win an auction unless you use bots.

I don't know why someone would need to use bots to win an auction. One person can just place his high bid and go about his business. That's how I, certainly not a land baron (and with no bots) won an exceptional parcel in Bay City through auction, at a very reasonable price for Bay City. It's always worth trying a bid for a good parcel.
