If I remember correctly, the very first release date was April 15, 2019, which was a Monday. (At least in LL's part of the world, maybe it was Tuesday somewhere!)

Yes but there were many, many complaints during that time from people who were getting shut out from the smaller releases. I realize you enjoyed it, I am just saying there were many more who did NOT, based on the too-many-to-count posts in this forum about it during that time.

If they release one or two regions at a time, there will be a stampede with many people not getting homes, and much more complaining. If they wait and have a big release all at once, more people get homes at the same time. If I were them, I'd wait.

There is, but I'm not in world right now so this is going to be from memory. When you have your TP history open, look for a gear icon to get to settings. In there, you should be able to set it to show date and time, and as I recall, can change it to your local time, too. Get in there and poke around and hopefully you will find what I'm remembering. 😛

There has been debate in these threads before about whether it is 24 hours from the time of claiming a home or 24 hours from the time of abandoning a home. In my experience, it is 24 hours from claiming, on a rolling basis as noted above. Someone recently posted that they verified this with Support, but I don't recall where exactly that post would be. Probably buried in this thread somewhere!

I doubt it, since @Patch Lindenspecifically said they would not be released today. Someone should ask Gogo to verify where she took that photo.

He wasn't definite one way or the other, per this from the SSP thread, where it's being discussed.

Are the homes in Faraday claimed? If so, it might be nice for the watchers to spread out a bit more to reduce lag for the homeowners in that region. I remember how awful it was to have a home in Dorma back when everyone was piling in to watch for the release of the Squishy Pickle area. Just a suggestion.

Houseboat and camper on LP right now. I have seen houseboats popping up regularly the past two days, no doubt getting tossed in favor of the upcoming stilt homes. It's a good time to be clicking if you have been waiting for a houseboat!

I think that is the one who is assigned to watch YOU.

I would advise to keep an eye on it. Often people grab a home that is posted (or not) and toss it back shortly afterward. If you really like it, watch for a bit and see if it gets tossed again.

I'd say that's a safe bet. From the start, they have been tacking the newest style onto the end of the list as each is released.
