The lack of bathrooms in sl is terrible. If I have to go, a lot of times i just squat behind a potted palm. But if you can't rezz a puddle, did you really go? Yes, it's a real thing

There are items you can buy that record likes.. "pat my head if you like me" or some other silliness. Some also give the option of registering a dislike. Saddle youself with that if you want, most people in here would want nothing to do with such a system.

Did you deed the land to a group? Abandoning the land won't remove your tier donation. You will still be charged the amount of your donation, not how much land you (the group) actually own.

Aside from maturity ratings, there are no zoning rules on mainland. You can open your store wherever you like.

Saw this building the other day in rl , and thought, wow, that's my club in sl.

Its not bots, its reserved bids. All you have to do to win an auction is to place a reserve bid so high that a land flipper won't be able to make any profit when he buys it and relists it to flip it. Of course, generally flippers have deeper pockets than you, so yes, you will lose almost every time. That's why auctions are a waste of time. Its much better to use the inworld land search and find parcels that desperate owners are trying to dump for pennies before next months tier is due. But you gotta be fast, because flippers search the land listings every day too, and that nice roadside parcel that someone sold at a loss for $1L per sqm yesterday will be back on the market for $5 L per sq m tomorrow. And someone will buy it. 😁

agreed, SL is fun, but its no substitute for logging out, going outside under the moonlight, and trying to figure out what the heck your dog is barking about at 3 am. Last time it was a possum she had cornered. She loved to chase (part beagle) but if it doesnt run, it will just bark and bark and bark at it. 😁

When I was logged in yesterday, just for interest I searched land for sale in the inworld search function. I selected land size greater than 2304, about 6 parcels of that size showed up. Anyone searching for a "non standard size" parcel should check there first. I'm not sure what the search function is like in the official LL viewer, but if you're using that, your first step should be to download and log in using the the firestorm viewer (phoenix layout), then go from there Beethos, just because you declare the topic closed doesn't make it closed. p.s. I've started many threads, and I've never gotten an e-mail about a reply
