Hmm maybe your soultion would be to create your own then, and to invite folks, that have similer items, but not direct competiotions? Myself, am looking for things that fall into three brackets...friendly to jewelry, friendly to someone just starting up , and maybe roleplay or mature roleplay based deals.

Is anyone familer with this concept, 50L teusdays 25L fridays, those sorts of things? How effective do you view them in getting a brand known, and efforts in making L , if your just starting out? ((oh and if good, what groups do you recommend?))

Did you get the TOS, before or after you bought the product? Was the TOS said before purchase? Would the owner give you a refund afterwords if you did not agree to it? If it is no to all of the above, the TOS is invalid and unusable. Enjoy your new product

I am looking inot possible easy to use spreadsheets or online databases. For my sales, and tracking how much I turn into r/l Money. Mostly for tax purposes as if you make over 400$ you actually need to report it, so yeah blah. My goal is to make this much!! So I want to be prepared.

Well....that part I can't help you as much with. You can put it up on the marketplace to let the avergjoe grab it and rent stalls themselves, or look up those that sell items that compliment yours...NOT direction competiton...just those like...I do jewlery..so I would look up wedding shop's dress's ..formal nightware...and ask them hey..see my items..it would compliment your store..and make us both money. Your's is a little harder to do ..as it seems you are doing general aroudn the house things, instead of specilizing or making a market ninch. I would suggest talking to those that rent land or sell houses, and offer them a split of items for whoever they are renting to to furnish their housing.

Something, I would advise on a side note.....If you wish to reduce your time micromanging things..and not hire folks. Look into an idea of an affliate vendors...it's sorta like free advertisment,except you will need to think hard on the fact, do you want to share profits. I just started out myself,and busy with helping runing magazine and college. So I do an affliate myself at 35 percent split, I have about 8 or so folks friends and other buisness owners that are using it. I only pay, when another pays, its not a horrible idea, and just starting out getting your name known is more improtant then how much money you get in ratio to effort. ooo..the vendor system I use is CasperVend

That is your graphics card giving youa massive hissy fit, look among your settings see if you have ground or sky turned off. It seem's that the viewers lose track of up or down, due to this fact. Also try lowering your draw distance, while turning off shaders ad turning them back on.

*working* Have tried Mcdonald even has a no working sign here.....I have tried making money and finding a small income working for others on SL, that works sometimes with many period's of no work, or someone wanting to pay 100L when my work makes them 10k in efforts to sale their things. I do enjoy my work with roleplay guide magazine, and putting effort into trying my hand at selling my own rings as such. The reason I bring this up, I've just finished my final's and rebuffed a few points saying no ones hiring. So well college books are a few hundred short from my grant and scholorship's, so yes ..pride...is pride. I seek to pull myslef out of the hole that I currently live in , is it wrong to ask for a hand to help lift myslef out of it?

So a question for folks, I have been mulling the idea about possibly holding a fundraiser, as some know college is expensive. I have some folks saying yeah sure you should, others saying its greedy to hold a fundraiser for yourself. I am kinda mentally torn on what folks feel about it. I know am in the hole with college and jobs not exactly easy to find,is it shameful to hold a fundraiser for yourself?

I am slowly building up a store based on jewelry,rings, and collars. I have one line finished and about ready to get two more sets going by the end of next week. I am willing to give out 35 % affiliate vendor's for those wishing them.
