Svarga from late 2007. The buildings look good, but the vegetation looks very dated.

I came fairly close. The chin is pointier and I could not replicate the eye shape to my satisfaction. Being able to BOM my skin and eyes was a BIG help in retaining my look. Facial expressions are much better too! I am happy with the final result.

Yesterday was a day of contrast. There was the joy and thrill of participating in Bay City's 12th Anniversary. So much fun! Then there was a change to my Second Life which didn't hurt much at first, but as the hours ticked by the sense of pain and loss grew. It's a brand new week, a new day, but I am starting at the bottom. The only way is up, right? **Blue Monday**

10 years ago my first SL partner vanished from the grid. I was afraid the swine-flu had gotten her, but in reality she was battling stage 4 cancer which had snuck up on her. I was so relieved when she finally reappeared. (And was in full remission!) She ultimately left SL to focus on her health, family, and friends.

You're right, Lewis. I can use any shape, but it is much easier to start with demo head that already is fairly balanced and "attractive". The creator shouldn't make it so much work for the potential customer. I'll drop a notecard on the creator and see if they'll send me a no-mod version.

So here I am, bored in quarantine and I decided to upgrade a male avatar. I got to the store, upgrade his body and get a demo bento head. Throw it all on, looks great, yay! HOWEVER, when I go to edit my shape, I am not allowed! The default shape that came with the head is No Modify! Sure, he kinda looks OK as a Kylo Ren - Klingon with fat lips mashup, but I want to tweak the shape to see how close I can get to the original look. I hop in group chat and the moderator was like, buy the head and find out yourself. I'm like, that's a big investment! It's a demo for crying out loud! It has the brand name of the product floating over my head. What am I stealing by modifying the shape? Is this common practice with all mesh head demos?
