While i'd love to get this body for my fiance(or even my alt. I do like it. A lot), I won't have the extra money before the fair is over i'm sure, and I don't know if i'll want to fork $20+ on an alt's body.. and my fiance probably wouldn't care enough to warrant that much either. Still, I hope it does well! If things change i'll perhaps get it one day, but until then i'll keep watch on it. 😃

I bought a Catwa as my first mesh head back when I first started SL on my first character (I think it was Catya, but also have Zoe at least), so they'll always hold a place, but the newer heads always looked slightly off to me. Something about the mouth always looked like some weird pursed thing with the corners, and the HUD drove me absolutely nuts(additional sliders/eyes/etc). It's a good concept in theory, but it was a pain messing with anything so I ended up skipping out on Catwa and staying with Lelutka. I do hope the price decrease helps their sales at least, though. They could also.. go back to fitting in some new hairs to their roster as well. There are plenty of hair stores, sure, but they can always remake some of their old styles for that taste of sweet-sweet nostalgia. Frankly most hair stores just do a lot of the same styles with slight differences anymore, so it's always nice to see new ones pop up to see if they do things differently.

I was mainly talking in general when it comes to the pricing, not just SS. I have no complaint against those with original creations, but I have seen plenty of re-used assets in SS over the years. I've had to cut back a lot on spending with SL as rl takes precedence and things have gotten absurdly expensive in that corner. I love the sales, and while they sure beat normal prices, i'll probably just be like many others and just be even more picky.

Considering most stores already set their prices at the max previously, they may as well set it at a solid 100. I've already been shopping a lot less even on the weekend sales. This will likely just cut that in half even. No biggie to me. I also don't understand why repeated virtual items need to cost so much in the first place. I understand time and whatnot(i'm an artist myself, believe me, I get it), but a majority of items tend to just be recolors of full-perm items, or photo morphs anyway.

I am quite impressed by some of the skins this year. Many of them hit a bit TOO right and i'm so broke after buying 1 thing already lol.

I don't necessarily dislike houseboats either, but I agree that they'd mostly clash. The modern homes already have little in ways of ocean views that isn't looking at a future neon-filled parking lot lol.

Looks like there are some houses further back in SSPRose Wishes. Vics really do have the nicest looking "coastlines". And probably distance views. The fact they're not jam-packed(yet) with houseboats is so nice.

If we could transfer no-transfer items to perhaps.. linked accounts(so I could transfer to my other accounts), I would definitely see Premium+ as a good buy. The 2048 home allotment and other little bells and whistles currently don't do it for me, but letting me make use of things I no longer do would flip it completely 180 for me. On the topic at hand. I'll still wait and sit on said hands to see if more things pop up. If they keep their 30% off price by the time I decide to go for it, i'll do so. If it's back up, no thanks.

I'm honestly shocked. Good on them though for getting it out in a decent amount of time. I'm rarely seeing things for these bodies these days.. Granted i'm not clicking everything in every event to check demos, so i'm sure there's still things I miss.

These are quite nice! Now we just need grass with those palms. I would actually consider re-subbing and trying for a home again if they did ha. Edit: It actually appears they have. Unfortunately surrounded by HB though. HB areas tend to be lagzilla from any i'd tried prior..

Reborn works fine with them as well. While I have Erika, and it's legs are nice, I personally shelved it as I just haven't been able to get a shape I like on it. Even with the deformers. I don't think Belleza's creator was really thinking straight with this move.. Freya was big in the furry community on SL once upon a time.. so it's definitely a head scratcher.

This sale price is much better. Puts it around Reborn's price, and that is one I can live with personally. Will I be getting it though? Don't know. I would get classic and I hardly see things for it yet, so if the price stays around what it's sale is then i'll probably get it if I see things pick up for the one I want. I won't waste my money on another "curvy" catered body. What I have is fine in that department. My anthro-exclusive friends though will have to wait another 2 yrs until their update lol -sigh-

As someone who's disappeared from their creator role(not sl related) for a long time and popped back, I know from experience their name will not carry them. They are now lost in the sea of fish and need to re-earn their place, not just expect it to be handed to them.

I feel like a lot of creators just go the "safe" route and go with curvy over classic, although census seems to be changing in some areas. For sure i'd stick to my ebody for curvy as well, and I also prefer classic as it reminds me of what my old Freya could get. Also don't know how much better their sales will be with 20% off. Still seems like a lot of L, but then that puts it down to roughly where Kupra was iirc? Better, but could still be better.

Well, if you can just change your first name only then what I said can be disregarded. I've never had a system last name to know how it works.

To clarify, you cannot get the name Babii again right now as it's not one of the current last names available. Why they limit it so much is beyond me, and these stay for an absurdly long time. Otherwise what others said still stands about the process. You can see the available names you can currently have for a last name in Jewell's link above.

Can also vouch Teegle. Very active community, and the staff is pretty helpful. Also lots of horse breeds to choose from.

Usually furry bodies don't really move out of the community, and even then they are actually much less popular than the normal human-made bodies. They just have more made for them, so many people with furry characters just stick to the usual everyone else does. I think the main reason why people might use furry bodies is because they are usually mapped differently, so might be easier to make textures for.

I don't think it's a new body. I'd heard of it some time back but.. no thanks. Ew is really all I can say about the shape in that image. I agree.

I do believe I saw one some time back, before these ones came out. I don't recall what bodies it was for, or even who made it, but it was at one of the shopping events.. I remember the name being a complete turn-off and had me going in the other direction pretty quickly. I also can't remember the name. I don't think i've seen anything for them, so i'm assuming they'd gone nowhere.
