  1. Rezzed a trolley at one of the Bellisseria train stations. Very cool! Thanks, Moles!
  2. Deleted to move my post to another thread.
  3. I just came by there and it worked! Hopefully it will work for the next click too.
  4. If you are like me and have become addicted to the clicking and "dun da dah" tune of those sparkly little pumpkins, you have probably exhausted your way through the lists and threads in this forum to find every pumpkin you can. Then, like me, you may have turned to the random wandering which takes more time and can be much less fruitful. I agree with @PJBearthat it can be frustrating. I changed my random wandering to follow certain patterns that have found me more pumpkins so I thought I would share my observations. 1. I have found considerably more pumpkins just randomly wandering through the victorian and traditional regions, the vics especially. This may be because more of the homes have residents in these regions and also because walking around is easier since there is more land mass and less cul-de-sacs. 2. There seem to be more pumpkins around linden homes on or near water, perhaps because people really into linden homes are pickier about their locations and are willing to roll many times to get a place near a unique feature such as water frontage or a waterfall, a lighthouse, a railroad station, a community center, etc.. These die-hard Bellisserians are more apt to participate and put out a pumpkin. I have found quite a few unlisted pumpkins just by wandering the streets bordering coastlines. 3. It is easier to find more pumpkins in areas with a lot of waterways by either boating or walking through the canals and inlets. I have found this to be a good strategy for the houseboats, the stilts and the sakuras. Also somewhat for the fantasy homes and the chalets, but there seem to be unoccupied regions in those areas that may not have made their way up through the queue when people are rolling for houses in those themes. If you are going by boat you may want to use a wearable canoe to avoid rezzing issues. 4. My most important observation is that while searching for pumpkins, my mindset changed from just searching for pumpkins to really taking a look around and admiring the vastness, beauty, and sheer brilliance of Bellisseria. It really boggles my mind! Hats off to Linden Labs and the Moles for this amazing creation. And I don't want to leave out the beautiful decor and creative decorations of the residents especially for those who went all out on the Halloween theme. I have been delighted and inspired by all of you. If I win anything from all of my pumpkin-searching adventures, that would certainly be nice, but if I don't win anything, I have really enjoyed the exploring I would have never done if not for this event. Hope you are having or have had as much fun trick-or-treating as I have! Happy Halloween!

  10. I was able to get a beautiful trad posted here a day or 2 ago on Winters Elm. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Winters Elm/72/100/27 It is a wonderful location, but as much as I love it, I cannot keep it so will be sending it back to the queue at around 7 pm SLT later today. Please feel free to TP in and check it out if interested.

  12. I just caught an amazing one thanks to the wonderful Mercedes Avon. Thank you so much, Mercedes! You are a sweetheart! ❀️
  13. I've been in SL for many years. I didn't pay any attention to Linden Homes until very recently. Then I discovered that I could get a home in a nicely landscaped area without having to put up a sky dome or skybox (to avoid people's crazy signs, ads, breeding farms, and junk). To top it all off I am saving prims by not having the prims of the house count against me. My stilt home was 221 prims (just the Linden-provided house by itself), my log home was 247 prims, even my houseboat is 155 prims. The prims per parcel for a 1024 on Mainland is limited to 351. See the chart below. Imagine putting a 221 prim house on a 1024 mainland lot and then trying to furnish it within a total 351 prim limit. I was living in a 10 prim skybox on a 1024 with no outside environment or pretty landscaping to try to save prims, and I still ended up looking at other people's ugly skyboxes because it's hard to even find private airspace. I am thrilled with what I can do now to furnish my SL living space as opposed to what I was doing before and all without having to increase my land tier. It is definitely a deal! It dawns on me that I sound like I am saying that back in the day, I had to walk barefoot 5 miles one way in the snow to school every day.. but I guess that is what I'm saying. LOL
  14. And.. let's say you are allowed to put a deck on the roof. Can the deck be covered with its own roof?
  15. I found a website that gave instructions on how to do this. I also reset my cable modem. Between these two actions, my problem is resolved. Many thanks, Nick0678!
  16. When I try to get into Second Life from any viewer (SL, Firestorm, Black Dragon) I am getting the following error message. "Login failed. DNS could not resolve the host name(login.agni.lindenlab.com). Please verify that you can connect to the www.secondlife.com web site. If you can, but continue to receive this error, please go the support section and report this problem." I am not able to access secondlife.com from any browser either. I have cleared cache in the browser, (Chrome and Edge) and I have flushed DNS cache via the command prompt as an administrator and nothing is working. Somehow I can access this forum.. I am not sure why. I can access other websites such as google.com. I am not able to log a ticket in secondlife.com right now so I am hoping someone here may be able to help. If anyone has any guesses as to what may be happening, I would so appreciate your insight.
