From what I can tell, there are still half lakefronts and edges available. Don’t give up! Or just keep your eye out on a new region. Maybe reach out to the people you consider alt armies for help? I’m sure they’d have some tips.

Sometimes I don’t see a region going until half has gone. I guess the best tip is to wait until a few more houses are taken there before you try.

Yes things are different now. They’re not releasing chalets one by one via a linden doing anything. The chalets are all out, waiting to be taken in a queue. They might release a random Victorian or stilt region here and there, that might not even require a linden anymore. edit to say: the difference is a rolling release = large theme release vs one at a time.

Thank you for being the voice of reason. Somehow people think 2-3 alts is more ethical than a 5-10-20! It’s all the same. I was frustrated Linden Lab only released new regions while I’m at work, giving at home all day people all the advantages, but I can only gripe about it and do nothing more. Something is always going to not work out for everyone.

They’ve already competed with landlords. The question is what’s next for Linden Homes? Maybe Linden Stores?

The enterprising will always find a way but they also risk losing their account so.. is a few bucks worth it? Doubt anyone is going this route, seriously. Too many disgruntled people in Bellisseria waiting to report each other for rental scheme to remain in secret for long.

No one is using groups to circumvent rental policy. Why rent when you can just get your own free Linden Home? There really is no money to be made. Someone isn’t going to want to pay even the stipend to live in one when they can get their own house AND stipend on their own. This kind of thinking or speculation sows mistrust and discord in the community. So let’s not think that.

Fantastic idea! I would pay for double prims plots. If there is opportunity for LL to incentivize people with double premium perks, this would be it. Maybe instead of custom work, they just let you return an extra hedge or two on these special parcels.

Another point, heavily invested GOH players also know what region is going and what region is next. Most people casually roll blindly, and that's why they feel defeated.

GOH is more complicated than just having a lot of alts. Even if you had 45 accounts, there's no guarantee that you would roll a desirable location unless you paid attention constantly. Why would Linden Lab increase rolls for people with fewer accounts? Your logic doesn't check out. I'm for them increasing rolls for everyone across the board. The odds are already against you set forth by Linden Lab with 5 rolls only, and not knowing which region is up next. The lack of transparency about the way these homes are released is the fairness that you're seeking. So it's fair. It's random. Is gambling fair?
