  1. Well, I am Russian and I don't stick to Russian community. I do meet other Russians that do know English good enough that we have to read each other profiles through and through to be like: "Wait, why do we speak in English with each other?" One of my best friends in SL happens to be from South Africa. I met ton of Indians for some reason. Aslo, people from everywhere in Europe, hence our timezones align better. A lot of people from US too, but SL does feel International to me. Who do you meet does depend on where you hang out and your online hours. So maybe explore some new places? And of course English language is everywhere. It's the one most people will likely understand.
  2. Maitreya Isle is the right place to go. Go straight from the shop entrance and look right to the stairs. You'll see Lara bento mesh body stall with demo and everything. Here's coordinates: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Maitreya Isle/131/196/23
  3. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Teista/186/118/25 Set for sale at L$6000
  4. Is current beta version stable enough to be used on a regular basis? I might become their patron supporter for that.
  5. My plan is to have separate room for a roommate or a kid, a room for communal space (kitchen, dining, living room combined) and a bathroom. Dividers are great, I'll probably use some in communal area, but other than that - have to be real rooms. 🤔 Will you post screenshots somewhere after you done with renevals? I'm curious too see how it'd go. So far my heart is leaning towards Pendle Keye house from Roost (19x19 meyers, 3!!! bedrooms and 114 Li with a snow roof). Land impact prowed to be another major issue — for example, I like houses from Dust Bunny, they look beautiful, but ones that will fit my plot aesthetically are 280 Li or something. Which leaves me with almost nothing to furnish and decorate. And I better forget about landscaping. Onsu and Convair have few options that are just as good as Roost, so I am taking some time to doubt my choices. 😅
  6. Scarlet Creative and Trompe Loeil seem to follow the same 1 floor equals 1 room trend. At least in small houses. Love their creations and went to both stores first thing, but have not found any options for my specs. Have yet to look at Dust Bunny builds though, so thank you for this one! 💖 Somehow I forgot that they make houses as well!
  7. Thank you, thank you, thank you, people! *O* You've revived my hopes. I'll be sure to check all those options. As for some houses being pricey, damn, I am willing to pay extra for those rooms and quality. Also, allowing myself to spend more on things I'll use a lot just makes sense in my head.
  8. Alright, I've spent a while searching through marketplace and hopping from store to store in world, and it's driving me to the point of desperation. Can someone point me to the direction of creator(s? girl can hope) that make smallish houses with rooms? So far the trend I see is having one huge room on ground floor and another on the next one. My dream house should have 3 (tiny) rooms + bathroom space and fit on 1024 plot. Don't care for doors, I am just not in the mood for placing and texturing extra walls. Or am I wishing for too much?
  9. Ok, I have a crush on Sansara, so someone else should speak about Heterocera roads. I am no expert by any means. Here is an article about Sansara Network: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Sansara_Network Do look at road maps and then compare them with map in world. Most of the time roads are clearly visible on in world map. Also, it might add to your enjoyment during the trip to browse links at the end of this article - learn more about continent and it's history, mark a couple landmarks on a map you might want to visit. Wiki article has a list of spots where you can rez your vehicle (ground or otherwise). This one, for example, is right next to lengthy Linden road: http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Noyo/92/179/42
