How would you exactly "get rid of pedos" which I hate that term cause it's incorrect without having rules? It's not like they are going to all gather 'round and raise their hand and say "here I am"! Then bring that up with the region owners who deemed the land ADULT. If there is no good reason then they should be ok with changing it. However, LL has said no Child avatars on A Rated land. That's is highly unlikely to change no matter how much you disagree with it. This isn't like signing a petition and a rule gets overturned. LL makes the rules and even if ALL of us agree, I guarantee you the rule would still be in place.

What you should do then is message the owner and ask them if they would be willing to reduce the rating to M rated or move the sim if it's in a place where it can't be reduced.

A very easy way to solve this is to have child avatars accounts. But I guess that's too much work for LL. If you want to play a child, you must use a child avatar account. These accounts would automatically have the A rating disabled and no A rated items are able to be purchased. The account can only use an approved LL body on this account and cannot switch to any other body. You are only able to purchase items marked with the "CA" icon. If you are using an adult avatar you are prohibited from purchasing any "CA" items or clothing. It would have worked if they set it up this way from the start, but alas they didn't. So now we have this mess.

I have no idea where you got this from? It's like you made this all up. LL never said it needs to be a top/underwear combo. People are concerned that the baked in layer will break their clothing so making them wear a muscle shirt is not a good solution at all. Also, there would be a huge difference between granny panties and bikini underwear. and it's Kathlen, not Kathleen and yes, it matters.

I wish that when Maitreya came out withe Lara X there was such an uproar of people having to spend $Lthousands to replace a wardrobe but there was hardly a care in the world about that. Even when creators said and did stop creating for Maitreya and are only creating now for Lara X. I honestly think that this thread would die down if LL simply showed us a picture of what the modesty panel will/should look like. They have yet to do so letting residents make up in their head how bad it will be. Not a responsible way to rollout a major change, if you ask me.

Here is how it's going to go down with ME: If I see a child avatar in an Adult region, I am going to make an AR. If I see a child avatar on a nude beach in a M rated region, I am going to make an AR. If I see a child avatar in a club that is doing M rated things that include nudity or sexualized talk I am going to IM the owner/host of the region and ask them to ask the child avatar to leave. If they refuse or don't comply I won't be returning to said club. No AR needed. If I see a Child Avatar in a G rated region I may engage with them and RP as an adult speaking to a child. I may also ignore them. If I see a Child Avatar in a M rated region I may engage with them and RP as an adult speaking to a child. I may also ignore them. In no uncertain terms would I check to see if they had a modesty panel on or actually care if they do. That's up to them to police. If they feel they want to take the chance that someone might look and report, well that's their decision. As long as they are clothed, aren't around A rated sims or M rated sims where nudity and/or sexual activities (including local chat) is going on I really don't care enough to worry about it. HOWEVER, what I consider a child avatar is my interpretation. Anime included. If the head or body looks like a child whether it's a child avatar or anime makes no difference to me. I will let LL decide if the AR was appropriate. I really don't see me being a threat to Child Avatars. For what it's worth I was part of BeYou for 2 years. Lots and lots of child avatars play BeYou. Not one time did I ever see anything wrong going on, out in the community or on the M rated sim. Nothing I wrote above has changed for me due to the new TOS rules and not once have I ever had to make an AR on a child avatar. I personally feel that having to have a modesty panel baked into the body is too much. I would think that if a child avatar is simply wearing BOM bra/panties with clothing covering it up should be sufficient enough but it's not my call.

Somewhere way back someone posted that child avi's are not allowed to be in the presence of nude avatars even if they are clothed. So I would conclude that for child avi's it's considered Adult. For non child avi's it's still considered M if it's just nudity.

See your opinion of what a child avi is and mine are different. It's not a slippery slope. If I report your avatar because I think it's a child avi and you believe it clearly is not and are following the TOS, then don't worry about it. Besides you won't even know who reported you. If I was going to report someone I certainly wouldn't tell them I was. I'd just do it. Also, I have never, ever even seen an anime avatar in world so it's certainly not me you'll have to worry about reporting it.

It's not my responsibility to determine if something I have reported is acted upon. If, for some reason, it is acted upon then it would say to me that it was right to report it. If it's not acted upon then no harm done. I refuse to worry that if I report a user for something that I feel is against the TOS that if they get consequences' its somehow my fault. I will freely admit I don't know where the line is so I would leave it up to LL to make that determination but I am allowed to report things I think are against the TOS.
