Simply setting a parcel to 'staff group' just means that if the land is set gropup only, the staff can go there... To actually allow staff ghroup members with suitable roles to eject and ban, use banlines, edit terrain whatever, the land needs to be Group OWNED, so the current owner needs to have a staff group role that allows deeding land, deed it to the group, and then group owners/officers get to use 'land owner' powers there. Theoretically, you can deed the land to the staff group, add the staff members to the access list on the about land panel, and set the access group to the customer group so customers who koin can rez their shopping bags to unpack, or set home location in your 'resort, or whatever you set in the customer group roles.

I doubt I'd qualify, I either show too much skin for that site, or nowhere near enough...

If you edit the house, and tick the "edit linked" box top third of the edit panel, you can step through the "prims" in the house 1 at a time by pressing crtl+[period] or crtl+[comma] till you get to the prim that is a different shade, and then edit the shade for that prim on the texture tab. Or you can click the face button (just below more and rotate, again top section of the edit panel) and click on the surface that is the wrong shade and edit it's tint there, in theory a single prim/mesh object can have upto 8 faces, which can be testured and color tinted seperately.

Open Task Manager on your copy of windows, if you don't know how to do that, press crtl-alt-del and a blue windows screen will open with options to login restart and "Start Task Manager". In the task manager window, go to the 'processes' tab, look at the list of processes running, one should be a copy of firestorm that hasnt closed properly from your last use, click on it, then click the "end process" button in the bottom of the task manager window. Sometimes when you exit an application the window closes, it's vanished from the task tray, but it is in fact still rinning, cleaning up temp files or writing settings to file, and usually ends a short time later, occasionally this can glitch and it doesn't end before you try and restart. You can also tick a box in the viewer settings allowing more than one copy to run at a time, but I'd advise against it unless you have a really good pc.

The SL viewer does not support RLV/RLVa at all. You need to download and install a third party viewer that does support RLV/RLVa. Options include: RestrainedLoveViewer by Marine Kelly (creator of RLV) Catznip Viewer by Kitty Barnett (creator of RLVa) Black Dragon by Nirans (uses RLVa) Firestorm by various (uses RLVa) RestrainedLove looks most like the SL viewer and rlv is enabled permanently in it, just install and run. The others differ slightly, have more feastures, etc., all the advantahes of a third party viewer, but you have to manually enable RLVa, this is an option in the preferences panel (press crtl+p), once enabled, you have to restart your viewer for it to take effect.

OK, every avatar in SL, regardless of if it wears a mesh body and head, or is a human or a dragon or a tiny airship, or a 7 m long killer whale, has FOUR thigs in common, that they all wear. These are a: system skin system hair/eyebrow/hairbase system eyes system shape This last one is the important one here, it determins the size of your body, length of arms and legs, shape of your non mesh nose etc. So, here is a link to a pack of free full perm shapes on the marketplace in "Standard Sizes" which are an approximate SL standard for mesh clothing sizes, to make it easier to wear clothes without constant editing. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/p/Standard-Sizing-Shapes-Male-Female-Classic-Avatars-BOXED/9303366 Try on different sizes till you find one thats the sort of figure you want, don't worry if its taller or shorter than you like, concentrate on how curvy it is, or how chubby. Once you find one you like, right click on your avatar and choose 'edit shape', theres a whole bunch of sliders that control most aspects of your system body and face, don't mess with the sliders for the standard body shaspe like breast size of body fat (theres only 8 sliders for a standard size compatibility) just ise ones like height, and the ones to edit your face, you can edit the face how you like, its quite similar to making a Sim in Sims-2/3/4 if you've ever played those. When you have made a face you like that doesn't look odd to you in the way the shadows fall, and is the height you want, use the 'save as' button to save it as "my shape v 1.0". The version number is so you know which ofd your shapes you want to wear, because you almost certainly will make variations later. If all else fails, IM me in world and I'll see if I still have a full perm XS sized shape with a decent face, that might be a good place for duplicating the FirstLife avatar in the picture you have posted on your forum profile.

Basically, who ever set up your group role in that group, set it so that you and anyone else with the same role are 'liable' for any chages the group incurs. What often happens is the group owner sets some land to 'group ownership' say as a 'clan sim' for example, despite the land being owned by the 'group' the tier is still payed by the group owner personally, but they also tick the land option box to pay a few for advertsing in search, for example, and forget to pay enough linden into group funds each week to cover the seartch listing fee, so the debt gets shared out amongst group members set to 'liable' roles.

The problem isn't that you don't have a mesh head, it's that the SHAPE of the system head you are using coupled with your current windlight setting plus shadows, means you get shadows on the face in those deep canyone between mouth and cheeks. Try decreasing the cheekbones by editing your shape, if the shape is no modify, get a pack of free 'standard sized shaped' from the MP (I think Absolut Creations might have one, since they invented standard sizing) and edit your self a new face. If you go with a face light (singular, facelight kits that mean wearing more than one light are an abomination against common decency) you will need to learn to edit the light settings down a long long way, the majority of facelights still qualify as 10 m radius nuclear powered industrial work lights...

Sounds like you changed the User Interface scaling size in the preferences panel, if you cant manage to find and alter that, you might have to do a full clean install, which would mena uninstalling the viewer, then going to the C:\Users\[your windows login name] subfolders where your viewer stores your personal settings and deleting those too, then reinstalling the viewer.

Honestly, I hadn't noticed that much degredation my self, over and above the usual SL... Have you updated your viewer recently? if so, check and see if the update has reset your graphics settings back to laggier settings, ie. draw distance, max non imposters, shadows, lod levels for avi's, terrain, sky etc. Some viewers seem to think that an update is a fine time to implement a 'see more stuff but looks crap' policy. So I always check ( and correct ) settings after viewer updates. If you recently updated the drivers you use for that gfx card, google the web for reviews, the makers of gfx cards do occasionally release lemon builds that you have to rollback from. Check your connection too, crtl-shift-1 check the packet loss, if its excessive, lower the 'bandwidth setting' in your viewer (another classic potential "we know better" settings reset target), and see if that fixes it.

I made an object with multiple 'sit' poses (more precisely dances), I didn't have some fancy pro multipose sitter script, i cobbled something together out of a full perm sit script in a pose stand. I don't tend to get that "float up and settle, sink and settle" problem, possibly because standing anims like dances tend to mess less with vertical avatar-centre/pelvis translates. I even managed to get it to cycle poses when you click the base of the object without menu popups, but auto setting pose z-offsets, while possible in theory, is a real pain, I still get different height avis floating at slightly different heights above the table when they dance., compared to the hassle of doing it your self from scratch, even a 'hard to use' sitter script might be easier.

Bundles up the current state of every item in your inventory, plus the current state of every script in every attachment you are wearing, plus the current state of your base system avi, including what animation you are currently running plus the state of any rezzed ovbjects you are linked to (sitting on/in) plus the state of any scripts in said object... All this gets squirted to an asset server, then it throws your naked bald body to the next sim, which... downloads all that stuff from the assert server, figures out what needs to be rezzed, figures out which ressed items have to be attached to you, loads up all the scripts, feeds them their stored states, and sets them running... Then all the scripts do their on-rez and on-attach and on-sit routines and try to pick up from where they left off... I've sat watching an agent script count/memory use/script time time display while people tp in and out of a sim, it's kinda scary. You'll notice that somebody with 50 scripts using 4 mb or memory with a script time of 200 ms when normally standing about, will report 4000 ms of script time when they tp in for a short period as everything starts up, it's also why people tp'ing out of a sim infront of you can cause a lag spike, as the sim stumbles a little processing the package and send bussiness. One of the major and unavoidable causes of lag on really busy sims such as the 4 sims of the annual hair fair, is handling all the load of thousands of people porting in and porting out all day every day on sims loaded with 49 people each...

It's worth pointing out there are RLV based items you can buy inworld designed for pet play, for example huds that not only prevent 'talking' but translate attempts at speech into mews or barks, prevent you seeing other avatar's names untill you have approached, and sniffed them several times, even prevent you from understanding human speech untill you have 'learned' a human word from constant repitition by your owner/trainer. These systems can even stop you opening the door of a house with your paws, so you have to be let out by a Two-Legs...
