  1. Most go for Frank on the far right. Actually Mr Olympia. Where I am going with this? Dunno but what are folks going for?
  2. Thanks. Kinda tall, but use Tiny Cam always Walking or driving. SL just would not be the same without it.
  3. Sky. Ground is nice and I prefer it, but you have zero control of your surroundings. Can change overnight. Had a good run at Mainland and liked it, but got tired of that. Got myself a Linden home. Would be nice if not for the claustrophobic layouts (maybe there is more space at the upper floor? Nope, more freaking doors leading to tiny pointless rooms), and I love the road access and neighborhood feel, but fear it has to be mostly skybox there as well.
  4. Aesthetic pretty much out out of the box.. Is it the best in SL? I happen to think so. Should you go for it? Nah. Go for Gianni, Jake or even Slink.
  5. All of my Russian friends are even more livid than any Eurpopeans I know. Not much they can do from South Norway,, London or Boston. Cool heads prevail, hopefully. People on both sides here. Sure I am mad, and upsessed, but my Baltic and East Europen friends are really scared. Fortunate enough to be a Scandinavian Nato citizen with Finland as a buffer... Let SL be SL and lets all talk inworld... Many of us actually do. From Egypt to Canada and lots in between.
  6. Nah, even us guys think that. Whether shopping for clothes, bulding stuff , vehicles or all that manly stuff we do.... Chainsaws and beards. You ladies should wear ponytails more, btw. OK, I'll stop perving now... Sorta promise
  7. Yeah it's not about the amount. Anyway, as has been said, some basic stuff in your profile never hurts. And my friends list is actually pretty short, but I still have a lot of friends. I'm just not obsessed with knowing where they are at all times or knowing if they are logged in or not. Rather, it's just nice to see them when I go to my usual spots. Anyway, the usual advice still stands. Find places you like to hang out at, stuff that interests you, join some places (sailing, building, dancing, clubbing, chess, shopping, archery, whatever...) and things tend to build from there.
  8. Thank Dog for L&B for still supporting Aesthetic, and getting a jacket that actually fits Getting a lot of the same, but OK enough. And I usually drive, so... Can prob tell by my home.
  9. Don't get me wrong. I do, and really appreciate what has been done.
  10. Thanks for the reply. Chalet open? Really? In the garden perhaps. But less worse Seriosly, I don't get these new Linden homes. Tall guy but yes I use TinyCam.
  11. Back as Premium. Sold my Mainland property and happily been renting for a while, and it makes sense after my rent runs out to get a Belli something. Scaling down a bit. But.. The homes are all so claustrophobic. First thing I'd want to do to would be to tear down a lot of walls to create more space inside (not possible I know). What's the point of all those tiny rooms in a tiny house? There's a garden outside that could be used for "more house", as I see it. But that's just me... I might go back to the old days of Linden homes when I actually had neighbors I talked to more or less regularly, though, and there was an actual neghborhood of sorts, so there is that If I get a Linden Home I would basically furnish it scarcely and tastefully and pop by at times, but my "real" home would probably be a skybox at, I dunno, 3000 m above. If I found a good place I might have a motorcycle parked outside at ground level, to, you know, drive around, but not anything major or scary to anyone. Who knows, I might get to be a more land level dweller as time goes on
  12. Some get sent to Caledon Oxbrige, others to BDSM. Thanks for the effort Scylla.
  13. Dislaimer: I go about 200 km/h plus in my boats in Lindens seas because I don't know better. But learn to sail and you are just better than me. You get passengers too and get to know folks. Even on the isles.
  14. Well meant answer obviously.. But perhaps Moderate to go sailing a bit. Good GF of mine found that kinda a good experience after going through what the OP did when she was new too
  15. Listen to the above. I live in Scandinavia btw. Ops, said too much
  16. Yeah my first thought too. But then again, quick and easy answer never hurts if not.
  17. Yep. Just explore. Like has been said, don't accept anything until you know what it is. Just enjoy being new and look around. Get yourself a dirt cheap skybox, they are there for like 20 Lindens a week inworld an in the Marketpllace (secondlife.com). So you get a place to change and stuff
  18. Yes yes yes, we get it. Just driving by, mean no harm
