I had a cold brew for breakfast and am now incapable of sitting still so I am bouncing all over the grid looking for someone to hold my attention.

I have space in my home. It is just me. Or you can put a small cabin on the property and live in it. It is pay what you can as I would still be living there even without a roomie but company would be nice.

I can live with curiosity.

So, I feel a bit like Posh Spice with this hair style. Though I was always more of a Scary Spice or a Ginger when I was a kid. (Do my eyebrows make me look severely unamused?)

Sneaks into the discussion... I am trained in CPR and child/infant CPR as well as abdominal thrusts (formerly know as the Heimlich maneuver) and first aid. Not completely mandatory for my current job but I got my certification when I was a nanny and now I work in a primary school so it helps to know things.

Just standing about questioning why I decided to move again when I have no desire to make the new cottage pretty. Like there is a bed and a couch, do I need anything else?

After a fair bit of complaining about not being able to understand people I've decided that my only option is to surround my self with floofy buns and not bother with humans.

Went shopping for something completely unrelated, found a sign for a gatcha, and then decided I would make a pretty awesome Faerie. This this was born.

Heyas!! I am Gatsby aka EleanorsRigby, I am back on SL after a break and looking for friends. Currently the only person I talk to lives in Lithuania, I live in the US so the time difference makes weekdays in SL pretty boring for me. I live a mostly boring SL at the moment, I decorate and redecorate my skylot, at the moment it is like some odd Romani caravan park, I shop, take pictures of myself, and casually RP. I don't mind having someone to just RP general life with, or maybe even get into a community. I am into all sort of things that I suppose I will list below Marvel Cinematic Universe DC Universes as done by CW with the exception of Supergirl, I tried but I can't Dancing (I really love to get dressed in a leotard and take pictures in variously lovely venues Roleplay Binge watching shows (currently rewatching Primeval) That science fiction show with the blue box that is bigger on the inside Reading Tea People watching I am no opposed to being part of a family, though I've not found anyone that will put up with me just yet.OH! Since I turned off most group chats my messages don't get capped, but if you are worried about me missing a message just drop me a notecard and I will get back to you. I am usually online Mon-Thursday from 1pm-8pm SLT, Fridays I have a tabletop board game group with friends so I tend to be on from 1pm until it starts and then back on once it finishes. On the weekends I try to wake up early so as to maximize the time with my friend on the other side of the world and tend to stick around until late. So no worries about me not being on.

I love this thread. Never shared but here I am, I was shopping and decided to snap a picture.

I shop skins from Lumae, though I think I fall somewhere on the mixed scale, likely Black and Persian or some such mix, but I like their skins and I don't often look pissed at the world.

You still need a decent shape even if you have a mesh body, putting a mesh body on a default shape is just going to look like a slightly smoother lanky armed, weird jointed, noob default. I've had both Slink and Maitreya bodies in my time on SL and I prefer Maitreya because it comes with the hands and the feet so no need to pay extra for them like you do with Slink (or at least that is how Slink was last time I looked), I don't do mesh heads because I don't want to look like everyone else, I worked hard to shape my avi's face and body to suit my needs. You need good skin, that is what makes up the whole look, default skin lacks proper shading and just looks like you've no idea what you are doing in world. But you should maybe know what mesh body you are getting before you get your skin so that you get one with the proper appliers. I have my inventory sorted mostly by stores when it comes to my clothes because I know what types of things I buy from each store so I can always find what I am looking for, though I have some more bulky folders like one just for shoes which is made up of subfolders of the stores that I got them from. I also have a folder for cosmetics seperated by what they are rather than where they are from, one for accessories because those are mix and match, and I have one for hair seperated by the stores I got them from. I know some people sort based on what type of clothing ie gowns, everyday dresses, skirts, jeans, tops, etc., it' really just finding a system that works for you. Though if you are going to get a ton of demos I would suggest making a demos folder and maybe sorting it by what the objects are and deleting the ones you don't want to buy after trying them so that what you have left is a shopping list.
