I don't know where Zindra is, but if you are talking about sex in an acceptable place but around a child avatar, that is a problem. But all you need to do is ask me to leave. I am an adult behind the screen and will understand if I walked into something I shouldn't be around. That's all I want; courtesy. If you I walk into sexual content, all I want to do is be informed of that politely so that I can leave.

Not sure if serious... Yes, SL handles like a shopping cart. That's because it's a 14 year old video game that wasn't well made 14 years ago. And the reason things look outdated is because everything in SL is user created. Some stuff looks great, but the bar is pretty low and so things don't always look great. All I can say is that it sounds like you are looking at SL the wrong way. Try seeing it for what it is instead of comparing it to AAA closed, modern games. If you truly don't like SL, fine, but it's clear that you are approaching it with unrealistic and loaded expectations.

There actually is a social media site made for SL and simile avatars. I can't remember the name right now though. As mentioned though, having a fake Facebook account is against their ToS, and can get you in a lot of trouble. The only thing I can think of is that it would be a good place to share photos and stay in touch offline. But we can already do those things in other ways, so I don't know if having a special social media account for an avatar would be worth it. You'd also have to have all your friends join that site, which a lot of people just aren't going to do.

But a child avatar isn't going to get you ARed anymore than any other avatar. That's my point. You're targeting child avatar's like there is something unique to them when there isn't. Anyone could be a pedophile. Anyone can be a troll. Anyone can submit false ARs. Anyone can be annoying. It's not legitimate paranoia because any avatar can do those things. If you are worried about having problems with child avatars, you should be just as worried about having problems with every other kind of avatar, because those problems come from bad players, not child avatars. What's not helping is you jumping on the "screw kid players" bandwagon without even knowing why or thinking about the harm that this toxicity is causing. Saying that child avatars are pedophiles is slander, plain and simple, and pointing that gun at the wrong person is going to get them wrongfully banned. So instead of hating people and fueling the fire, try pointing that gun where it really needs to be pointed; at *****ty players, regardless of what avatar they are wearing.

Racism and Ageism as both isms, and most of the hostility towards child avatars comes from the same place as racism; there is no real reason for it and is only people vocalizing how they hate things that are different. Who is it ok to ***** all over one group of people but not ok to do it to another? So I can't go to a store that happens to be on an adult sim but doesn't sell adult content? I can't roleplay in child friendly sims that is rated as Adult because they have an area for adult roleplay (that kids can't be in)? No. Sorry. Read the ToS. There is nothing about child avatars not being able to access Adult areas. Period. If you're going to try and argue something, try learning the facts of that argument first. Because they should, like every other avatar and player. As long as they are not around sexual content or breaking other rules, who should any avatar type be banned from an area? Again, replace "child" with "black" and see what happens. Why would anyone want to play a furry? Why would anyone want to gender bend? Why would anyone want to be cyber-raped? Why would anyone want to be kidnapped? There are a lot of reasons to play a child avatar, and only one of those reasons has anything to do with therapy. You clearly have a lot of anger issues and delusions about reality. Maybe you should leave SL and get therapy. I'm less inclined to, since it's fairly old and long unsupported. It's not a bad body, but there is a much better one out and others that are being worked on that make going back to it unnecessary, save for compatibility with new clothes I'm working on.

Not all kids want a "safe" community because not all kids are babies. There is a whole world of child avatars who don't wear diapers, and there is a whole world of places in SL that are ok with that. In fact, most schools and family communities are in M rated sims so that play doesn't look like a perfect episode of Full House. I've never understood why people want to by cyber-raped in fake sex dungeons. I don't judge them too harshly. I chose to play a kid because I felt like it opened a lot more doors for me. I don't play SL to have cybersex, so I made someone that doesn't do that. Something I want to put out there that seems to be getting missed here. 1. I play a child avatar, but that doesn't mean I play a baby. I don't wear diapers or use a pacifier. I don't speak in baby (that is annoying to everyone, even other kids). I play an 11 year old because I wanted to be old enough to be able to do things on my own, while still being young enough to be a kid. 2. I'm not here for cyber. If I teleport into an adult sim, I am wary of it and look around for rules or offending content. If I see sex shops, Gor, BDSM, or the like, I leave. If a kid does show up in your sim, just tell them that it's not appropriate to be there. Maybe they had an old landmark. Maybe they didn't know there was adult content. Give me courtesy and treat me like a person instead of just booting me. 3. I am here to roleplay, and that means more than staying in a safe family sim. I want to play in fantasy sims. I like cyberpunk. I want to play in a horror scenario. If there actually is sexual content, see point 2. If there isn't, I just wanted to be treated as a person. Again. I don't play a baby. Older kid avatars can participate in more mature (but not sexual) roleplay, and many kids want to do so. 4. Read the ToS. 90% of the bull***** I hear that isn't people complaining about babies is people saying this or that is against the ToS. It isn't. The only thing that talks about no kids is sex. It doesn't say anything about violence. It doesn't say anything about foul language. It doesn't say anything about non-sexual adult scenes. If I want to play a runaway or an old west kid who grabbed Pa's gun, that's not off the table, and I shouldn't feel like a monster for doing it. 5. Is there an adult community? Do you have meetings and keep minutes? Is there a president of the adult community? No, and there isn't one in the "kid community" either because there isn't a kid community. There are communities of kids, but there is no cohesive group that represents all child avatars. We don't police kids because that's not our job. We don't train kids because we don't know them. I would love to coach more child avatars on how to play better, but no other "community" does that because it's impractical. 6. When you want to ban or discriminate against child avatars, replace "child" with "blacks" or another type of person and see how you feel about it. If it sounds discriminatory, it probably is. If you don't want kids in your house, fine. But if you are making a public space that doesn't have sexually offending content, I would like there to be a consideration for making it open rather than just having a blanket and reasonless ban. 7. I mentioned it above, but please treat me like a person. I'm not the one kid you met who was annoying. I'm respectful and lighthearted, but I'm also played by an adult who wants to have a discussion about SL and wants to find ways to get the most out of it. Give me a chance to show you that I'm not a baby talking toddler or a troll before you ban me. If I ask for a reason, it's because I want kids to be more accepted and want people to challenge themselves, not because I want to be a brat and say you are trampling on my rights. I agree that creeps and idiots give the rest of us child avatars a bad name, but let's stop pretending that creeps and idiots only play child avatars. There are plenty of creep and idiot furries, adults, robots, and houseplants in SL, so let's treat them for what they are (creeps and idiots) instead of scapegoating what they look like.
