There is of course that appeal. SL is meant for doing stuff we would not or cannot do in RL .. our world, our imagination .. and i understand that totally. But when it basically all looks the same, it's getting a bit problematic also. It is not easy to get into the right mindset to flirt with a woman who is already in her underwear. Something is just missing.

Yes, RL_LEGAL outfits and anything less is .. at least for me .. meant for a) private time or b) themed events. I mean, it is (for me!) absolutely boring to enter a moderate club and have bare asses and basically naked breasts flashed at me. I just don't want. I want to see personality .. i am that odd. Anything else is for later ... IF at all. That's not me telling anyone how to dress but it's me getting bored by seeing always the same.

That is probably not right. It can also be a female designer who thinks that that is what men want to see and of course its also her believe that all women think like her ... while men (not all but a good amount) would rather leave all this to revealing stuff for later, to not destroy their imagination ... it's nice to build up some desire.

That would depend at how much beer was consumed.

I would say it is welcoming to both genders and there is a lot of places who cater just to any fantasy/desire and that isn't only the male one. Of course each gender has to put a bit effort into the game. A good avie is only one part and it might not be the most important one.

In addition to my previous post i would also say, that clubs like Muddy's as example will serve better for light hearted chatter than Franks or any other formal venue.

That's not a male problem but a people problem. If people listen to you depends mostly at who you are, where you are .. if there is the right audience and of course it's about what you are saying and if it's the right time. Right now, i wouldn't react to any approach as i am still on my 1st coffee .. and i need one more. Besides that, i rather find someone interesting to talk too as that i try to entertain an unknown crowd.

13 years ago some virtual magazine showed on TV (germany) the world of SL. I was bored at home, ill and probably a bit drunken and logged in. It was the only time that i saw anything about SL being advertised anywhere.

Laura? Oh yes, i remember. Best let them think here it was a woman!! Evolving is actually good i would say. Sometimes we might evolve because our surroundings have forcefully changed. I am still unsure if it is me or if it is the player base which has evolved during the years. I find it's today not so much about roleplay but more family play and being correct and ... well, nice. So yeah, i evolved to the point that i lost my interest for RP in RP Sims. Today i might be much much more inclined just to have a litte one on one RP, somwhere.
