  1. if you don't pay your bills.... yes you will loose your account. So ... pay, abondon the land if you don't want to pay for it, and you can use it again.
  2. as always sl is dying... it's going down a bit and we all die.... https://danielvoyager.wordpress.com/2015/09/14/update-on-the-latest-second-life-statistics-september-2015/ of course it's not a happy face but with this stats Main Grid Regions: 25, 223 Private Estates: 18, 098 Linden Owned: 7, 125 .... it's not dead! 18098 x 295 = 5338910 a month is pretty alive... add the tiers from mainland ( ok not lots..but still ) ....add also Lindex exploitation and as long WE KEEP COMMING, SL will be alive. It's the negative attitude that kills it... users still between 30 and 50k or a little more/less depending on time. Don't see it too black/white. It's been always up and down with places. I am around for 10 years and also in the busiest times stores come and go...clubs come and go....people loosing interest in one will get other places they visit. Nothing changed.
  3. there are viewers with several different features, but you will never be able to hide. If one shares a groupmembership they always can see your status, also there are several scripts to find who can show the same. Also if you forget to uncheck the "only friends can see my online status" all will see it. And if they don't look at it and send you a message....... not the offline response, the message will make clear you'r there.... If you really want to hide, create a alt and never tell any of your friends your name.... if you tell one, the risk is they won't keep it secret and spread it ...and all starts again....
  4. we can't give more than the clear instructions on the knowledge base to you, thats all what we have. What exactly isn't working? you do need a active verified paypal account you need to sell your L$ first if you have a transaction to rl pending it might be LL asked you to provide additional info, perhaps that ended in your spam?... and so there are a few more things that can cause problems cashing out, please return to your post and edit it to add info?
  5. you have to change those at your profile page. Your pw is most likely stored at the pc, so first change the email, confirm it with your stored pw, and than change your pw, it will be sent to the correct email. if this isn't possible you have to contact support by life chat or send in a ticket.
  6. as you state its for use at OTHERS ,so it's most likely a griefer tool. Use it and the chance you enjoy SL much longer is very little, you will be banned in no time.
  7. since august 1st this question is asked several times and the anwser is still the same: most debit cards are NOT accepted by LL. A debit card with mastercard or visa logo is still no Credit Card and also may be rejected. copied from the knowledge base: Accepted currencies and payment methods You may use the following payment methods with Second Life: Visa American Express MasterCard Delta Online (non-U.S. Residents only) JCB Diners Club Discover (U.S. Residents only) Visa Electron (non-U.S. Residents only) PayPal Skrill The currencies accepted for payment include: CAD, AUD, JPY, EUR, GBP for non-U.S. Residents, and USD for U.S. Residents Note: If you have had a payment method on file since before December 7, 2011, you may need to remove and re-add that payment method before making payments in non-USD currencies. PayPal For a complete list of currencies accepted by PayPal, visit their official website and view the page on multiple currencies. To use your PayPal balance when making transactions with Second Life, it must be in USD. You can convert your balance to USD at paypal.com (PayPal may impose exchange fees). Skrill Skrill offers a variety of payment options including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, along with over 100 local payment options listed on their Payment Options page. For a complete list of currencies accepted by Skrill, visit their official website and view the page on Fees and Availability.
  8. .... 1 it doesn't ask for pw or any info by mail 2 it leads you to a real website ( verify the adress) 3 after checking the website you have to log in yourself (unless you been so uncarefull to let the browser remember the login, this is a security breach by yourself) 4 you have to remove(!) not add paymentinfo 5 still able to check the website 6 add new payment info .. how much security you want?... this are more steps than a normal secure bank....
  9. systemlayers won't work with mesh avatars, if you wear a LL starter avatar you are stuck with the clothes you wear now. If you want to change your look you will have to buy/find everything new, including body/shape, skins and clothes. If you aleady have a developed mesh avatar from another resident/shop you can look for clothes and skins everywhere. Lot of stores will have fitting clothes and/or appliers for it. ( logo's on the adds)
  10. what did the owner of the picture tell you?
  12. ehm.. why you think we know?.... there are differnt things that can cause it... you wear really a green skin... you wear a green tattoolayer.. ...and so on do a character test and add the things you wear one by one, it it happens again you will know it's the last thing you added.
  13. if it takes this long you most likely missed a message from LL to provide information. I think you will find a request to fill in a form in your spamfolder. If this is the case and you didn't reply you will never get your pay-out. If it's not there, call billing or send in a ticket to support.
  14. if you'r so good that it wastes your time you should post in the right place to start ASAP... or open your eyes inworld, nearly 80% is for sale or rent. https://community.secondlife.com/t5/Parcels-for-Sale-Mainland/bd-p/ParcelsforSaleMainland https://community.secondlife.com/t5/Region-for-Rent-Full-Private/bd-p/ParcelsForSaleEstate https://community.secondlife.com/t5/Parcels-for-Rent-Mainland/bd-p/mainlandparcelsforrent https://community.secondlife.com/t5/Wanted-Mainland/bd-p/WantedMainland
  15. you did by giving your birthday while signing up. Adding paymnet info as paypal or CC also verifies you for gaming sims, unless you'r too young or living in certain states.
  16. no you can not. UNLESS ... you own a full private sim, than you can relocate to another place on the grid. For parcels it's not possible. What you can do is, if you ow all stuff, pick it up in one selection and rerezz it at a new piece of land you own..
  17. Please contact me in-game with prices and information ASAP. Thank you contact me inworld with price and information please .... sounds a LOT nicer than "ASAP" ... i'm too scared now...
  18. crashing during tp is often a connection problem. Not always your side, but sometimes it helps to restart your modem/router.
  19. if you buy a convertable without top you get wet when it rains... so if you want to sit dry and warm/cool you need a top above your head, or put a plastic bag over your head. The same for Operation Systems. If you want a certain program to run perfect you need a OS that is able to handle that. All others will only be able to run it at adapted settings, with mostly limited use, and be as the plastic bag as mentioned in the first line.
  20. go to your account page, there you can cancel your account. If you own mainland, abandon that first or you won't be able to select cancel. When you'r premium, your account won't get cancelled before the end of the billingcycle. You also could keep this account, downgrade to basic if you'r premium, and just not log in. if you ever change your mind you can use it again.
  21. as far i know the notes are not a setting, but just part of the profile. If you have problems in this matter i think you best can contact support by ticket.
  22. Stel je vraag gewoon in het nederlands dan komt er een antwoord. Hier kunnen we niets mee. Een post als deze is nutteloos. Als je een normale vraag stelt krijg je antwoord. translation for the english speakers: Please place your question in Dutch, we can anwer that. We can not respond this. It's useless to post this. Only real questions are open for a answer.
