  1. A new (to me) gift of some lemons from Apple Fall. 1 Li. They are near the plant display called 'Closing August' . http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Apple Fall/95/194/55
  2. I picked up this lovely tradition house a few days before Christmas. Its so secluded with no immediate neighbours. Hills and rocks behind and across the road in front. On one side just trees etc along the road and on the other an area with trees before the first house is reached. There are some lovely homes in the pot.
  3. I thought the Victorian theme would be my favourite Linden home but I find myself being drawn again and again to the houseboats and have come to realise that those feel more like home to me.
  4. This landlocked parcel is in Sutherland and overlooks Sutherland dam and Sutherland Passage leading to the Sea of Fables. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Sutherland/75/73/47 L$3000
  5. Hope you can see them ok in this photo. They also provide a full perm AO map so you can make and add your own pictures.
  6. You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time. Can't remember who said that but its clearly true. 😂
  7. I quite liked the region when I went inworld to see it but there were a few things I wasn't keen on. 1. The houses appeared to be slightly too close together in some places. 2. I wasn't mad on the textures on the outside walls but these may be changeable like the other themes.3. Inside, it just didn't feel like a different theme, mostly because doors and stair rails are the same as in other themes. 4. There didn't seem to be the lovely little features in the landscaping that we are used to in Bellisseria. However, the houses are big and bright with lots of windows. I like the internal layout. The choice of 512 or 1024 parcels is new and a good idea. Personally I would be concerned about trying to furnish those with 175 Li but might be a fun challenge. It's nice to see a modern slant for those who wanted it. I'll probably get one and see how I get on decorating it.
  8. Most of my decorating is indoor, cosy fires, mugs of hot beverages, a Christmas tree, Christmas candles and some Christmas cooking stuff in the kitchen etc but I do like exploring Chrismas/ winter wonderland themed regions. Love the ice/snow sculpture in the video.
  9. 0h you mean your point was to remind people of rules which you asked someone else to post and which no one suggested breaking 😂 okkkkkkaaaayyy 🙄
  10. and no one here suggested breaking those rules so not sure what your point was but glad to be of help.
  11. They are clearly pinned at the top of the Linden Homes forum There have been some questions and discussions about decorating Linden Homes in Bellisseria for holidays and seasons. Bellisseria is very much a community and part of being a community is celebrating holidays. So yes, Residents are definitely allowed or even encouraged to decorate their homes for holidays they personally enjoy or observe. In response to the recent queries regarding seasonal decorations and content, we would like to announce the following guidelines being introduced as of today: Seasonal and holiday decorations are permitted as long as they are not intrusive to your neighbors and staying in general continuity of the area, as per the covenant. Natural seasonal elements are permitted if they are applied subtly, such as a light dusting of snow or a scatter of leaves. Decoration should not be placed out any earlier than 30 days in advance of any holiday or season represented and must be removed within 15 days of the holiday or season passing. As always please take your neighbors into consideration when decorating for the season. Outdoor holiday decorations are "in theme" with Linden Homes if they are congruent with the holiday season (no Christmas decorations in May or Halloween decor in April) Remember to keep all seasonal and holiday decorations within the borders of your parcel and ensure that no content extends over the parcel lines. We will also be updating the covenant to include the following: Seasonal and holiday decorations are permitted as long as they are tastefully applied. Natural seasonal elements are permitted if they are applied subtly, such as a light dusting of snow or a scatter of leaves. Outdoor holiday decorations should be congruent with the holiday season (no Christmas decorations in May or Halloween decor in April for example). Remember to keep all seasonal and holiday decorations within the borders of your parcel and ensure that no content extends over the parcel lines. Decoration should not be placed out any earlier than 30 days in advance of any holiday or season represented and must be removed within 15 days of the holiday or season passing. and also there is the covenant which you will find in the land tab of your Bellisseria home.
  12. They are free to stick to the rules for Bellisseria as set by the company who owns SL. No one as far as I can see is suggesting otherwise under this topic. Just a friendly reminder that the rules for Bellisseria and events held on it, are set by Linden Lab.
  13. Thanks, I love these. Particularly the cupcakes with the Christmas lights ❤️
  14. Patch has and possibly other Lindens have taken part in the great Dickens Project which happens every year. This is something I look forward to. The region is wonderfully created and the events and readings really get me in the Christmas mood.

  16. Don't know if these are new or I just didn't notice them before but Apple Fall have these cute little pumpkin string lights out as a gift. You will find them just above the shelving unit with the American bunting on, in the landing place. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Apple Fall/48/129/29
  17. I quite enjoy seeing boats, horses, cars and trains etc around Bellisseria. I wish I could see planes but I never have. I have seen a hot air balloon once. I don't have any security at my homes and only twice in two years have I ever had an 'intruder'. I ejected them and that was that. I felt no need to ban as I doubted I would see either again. One of the joys of Bellisseria is the lack of ban lines which ruin parts of mainland. There is no privacy in Second Life really anyway, people can derender your house and even your clothes if they want, even if you have ban lines. When driving any vehicles or riding a horse, you need to concentrate on navigating so its unlikely anyone is even noticing someone in a skybox.
  18. I like Simply Shelby's stuff. I love my sun and moon bench from there.
  19. Group gifts at Raindale, there are quite a few, many suitable for the fantasy theme, I have only photographed a few. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Hazel Woods/156/123/26 The table is 2 Li, the lantern is 1 Li and can be switched on or off. The daisy teapot is 2 Li and the plate of Lembas is 1 Li. The group is 50 lindens to join.

  21. Beautifully decorated and Enya is the perfect musical accompaniment for the fantasy theme.
  22. Thank you both so much. I am really spoilt for choice now and have compiled a Fantasy landmarks folder for all my needs. These creators have such beautiful things and yet I havent heard of some of them. Have spent my day off fantasy shopping.
