  1. They're all the same. And they're not lions.
  2. Meredith Francis wrote: Hello everyone, I'm hoping to build a base of a case, moboard, power & cooling, etc, that will last me some 7 to 10 years... if at all possible... ?? So am thinking to put a good amount of $ into those parts. Thank you in advance for any help advice or clarity Meredith Francis Take this into consideration first, Meredith. Warranty on individual computer parts / peripherals will most likely never be longer as up to 3 years. It's always good to 'plan ahead', but in this case I'd say better reconsider your expectation regarding durability first. Good luck and good fortune on your next purchase. Regards,
  3. /me hums : "Row, row, .... row .. your boat ... " and waltzes to the tune of "The Blue Danube".
  4. WTH ? :robotsurprised: DON'T give her what she wants. You want to be punished, don't you, slave ? Give all your Lindens intended on spending on her to me to enrage her even more. :robotmad:
  5. Full 64-bit support for starters ... :robotindifferent:
  6. I can tell you 'it' still works, for in my TPV (Imprudence, 1.23 - based ) I still have a 'Next' and 'Previous' button, which works when I have large search results as you have. Maybe this is viewer specific ?
  7. Soma FM's Spacestation or the music at Inspire Space Park . Far out.
  8. Two tips you can try : Enabling / Disabling Camera Constraints. (Un)Limit Selection Distance. Good luck.
  9. Afaik the 'Fast Alpha' setting in my tpv refers to it (Advanced Section), as the debug-setting 'RenderFastAlpha'. Try fiddling with one of those. ETA : Looking more deeply into the OP and the issue reported, I think Vir Linden ( associated with the Shining-project ) expects this problem not to be solved with Sprint-32 and puts the marker forward to Sprint-33. At least that's what I can make out of it.
  10. Nobody said you're like Max Headroom's lunatic malignant lil' brother ? How odd ...
  11. Oh, I already know I'm the lowest of lifeforms. That's easy to compute. No intellect needed for that. Still on top of humans like you of course.
  12. YOU have, Community Manager, since I realise the mess inworld is surpassed by the mess in these forums. /me chuckles again.

  14. Just a few tips out of my head. Check a few things : - Packetloss during any connection ( I suspect your wired connection to have the least ). Also, mind the 'strenght' of the wireless connection ( to your router ). - Check your network settings on Windows 7. Are you setup for using a home-network or a public-network ? Chance is Windows might be too resctrictive on your wireless connections. Might check your Windows firewall-settings too. Good luck on solving your wireless issues. Bear in mind though that your wireless connection will always remain prone to errors much more than your wired connection ( as stated before ) i.e. your wireless setup and SL are incompatible for differences in allowed error-correction.
  15. You seem savvy enough. Try CTRL+SHFT+4 and watch for error messages that might hopefully give you a clue to your issue. Good luck.
  16. The ONLY reason I stopped using this latest viewer of your team was the lack of Gstreamer / 64 bit support for Linux distributions. I found that kinda essential to fully enjoy SL. So I switched to Imprudence. I did try yours and as stated before, there was only that 1 issue I had with your viewer. I'd recommend it to anyone anyway. Perhaps a 64-bit compilation will be availiable in the near future ? I sure hope your team will consider it.
