I should make this another pet peeve: people who post an excellent cartoon, illustrating precisely what's going in, then suddenly, for no real resson, offer a completr and utter retraction, leaving everyone in their wake either baffled (or happy).

AnyPose may indeed do it. 👍 poses that can be easily played back, and adjusted on the fly to fix "Hand stuck in leg" and all the other problems associated with fixed poses and various avatar sizes. Looks very promising. Thank you. ❤️

If I could possibly impose on you once more, do you also happen to know a way to adjust the position of your extremities and such? (That's putting it a bit too medical, LOL, but you know what I mean). Like some poses are great, but leave my hand clipping thru my dress or something. And I'm too OCD to be able to ignore that. Sometimes I wish I could just lift my arm a little, or a hand on a knee not clipping thru my bod like crazy.

Well said, Luna! Sometimes ppl need to push back. And the harder they do, the more likely it is, that were were treated unfairly. I'm not condoning looting -- few there be that do, I think -- but we should not let opportunists like that be used as an excuse to deny the inherently very valid reason for the 'rebellion.' That's all a little too convenient.

What a series of extremely idiotic, selfish, and far from rational conclusions... illustrating so well the trollish reasoning going on in this forum, and in the world at large, starting at "but by saying a burning house needs attention, aren't you saying all other houses don't matter?" Right here: What a trollish game. And a strawman to boot. No one ever said other dead people matter less. An extremely transparent ploy, to pull a quick switcheroo here. Someone says there's a huge problem with black people getting killed by white policemen, and that this needs urgent attention, and along comes the white man, spinning it so it's actually HE that's being discriminated against! And that he can't get behind that. Boo-effing-hoo! Let me spell it out to the Karens of this world (to stay with the analogy): your white house isn't the one on fire! Should it ever be, we'll get to yours too, that goes without saying. No, I mean literally, it doesn't need saying: your white house was never in jeopardy to begin with. It's simply a given white policemen will come for you, when you dial 911, to get a black man arrested. It's the black man's house that needs attention now. And don't nobody dare turn this into a "White lives matter too!" issue.

Funny way of trying to twist my words, LOL. It's merely a matter of deciding to right the most egregious wrongs first. Like with COVID-19: worst cases first (the triage Scylla mentioned). P.S. And speaking of which, how many white ppl did die exactly, say, last year, by other white policemen? Just name one. Or just try and recall even one occurance.... I thought so.

I was going to say, "That's the whitest thing I've ever heard someone say!" Then I realized you got some likes for it (yes, I'm sensitive to that), and I hesitated a bit. But hell with it, I just said it anyway. Thing is, I get that you meant it in all all-encompassing, good way. But I doubt 'no matter what color' is a sentiment shared equally among many black people. For such equality to exist, first the uneven parts, as it were, must be straightened out. (That's a lesson I took from Isaiah, actually: "Every valley shall be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low.")

I have to agree. From what little I truly undetstand on these matters, it would seem 'blackface' is not considered acceptable in America -- and likely not even when done with the utmost noble intentions, which no doubt Fairre had. Remember when Amandla Stenberg, in 'The Hate U Give', derides that white girl for talking to her about 'our people'?! Kinda the same thing. They're not 'our' people. I'm white. Apart from highschool history lessons, I have essentially no clue what it's like to be black. I can watch youtube and see black ppl get beat up,; but I have truly no idea what it's like to actually be black, and having to live thru that sh*t every day. I think -- and ppl should feel free to correct me -- that is why blackface is not done: it's presuming to be a part of someone's history, their suffering, when, in fact, you're absolutely not. Rather, to be on the safe side, and simply because I want to make whatever stance possible as ME, I will speak out against racism, and violence against black people, as a white woman, not pretending to be black, but really just saying "I, a white person, will not stand for this either." And should I ever refer to black people as 'our people', then only in terms of us all belonging to the same, equal human race.

I really like that thought. Reminds me of Schrödinger's Cat (no, not you, gatogateau 😊), that principle in quantum mechanics where you see what you wanted to see. If you were looking for a particle, you'll find a particle; if yoiu expected a wave, you'll find the latter.

If I may latch onto this part, I do get that life sometimes has a way of folding in on us, in a dark way (not exactly subtle, LOL, but it will need to do). But there's no getting hurt 'in the end.' That is just a choice we make when we feel we are too hurt, and call it quits. When I was very young (around 15) I was enamoured by the exploits of one Charlie Brown, American classic. Sure, he was a bit too dorky for my taste; but I admired that he had this sheer endless ability to forgive Lucy. He got me thinking on the importance of the whole "Dance like you've never been hurt" thingy. And that, in order to keep your soul intact, and whole, one must make a conscious effort, every day, not to die a 'big death,' as I called it; not to let all the small hurts turn into one huge, permanent state of being hurt. Because that leads to, well, see the poster you replied to.

Or, in the incendiary words of the man himself, waiting to show the black man who's boss, "If the looting starts, the shooting starts."
