I thought a little bit about this and to be honest, it entirely depends on your perspective if its a sad day or not. Second Life is an entertainment product. If it doesn't entertain you as much as it would need to, to justify £99 a year, then its just logical to not spend that money each year. People change. Its normal that this doesn't exclude the enjoyment we take from our hobbies. It is actually quite suprising, if something consistantly sticks with you your entire life (or a decent portion of it). And 15 years is such a long time. Thats half my life! You run into people on the internet, who weren't even born, when you settled into SL. Tresure the memories and the joy you had here and don't be sad, that an old love doesn't cause the same spark it used to. Instead, set sail to something new and when you are looking for something comfortable and familiar, SL will be there for you to enjoy once more. It would be sad, if that spark of joy was still there and something external would force you to quit your membership. But you moving on as a person doesn't need to be a sad thing, at least for yourself.

Thank you! It is a prim, because this is not even the ground. The Tortuga has two platforms outside and this is one of them. I just put the gras prim on top of the wood floor.

I'm not finished with it yet (need more plants and garden decor) but so far, this is the concept I'm going with at my Tortuga. I made the lower area into an artificial garden.

Wow. I just scored a dream location in Drinkwater. First try. End of a "street", backyard faces water and a rez zone for boats right next to my parcel.

If that means less cruseship sized "boats"... 😁

They showed for me briefly, but were apperenty grabbed within secons - too fast for me.

They are gone again. Tried and failed to get one.

They stopped after around one region or so. Right now, nobody can get one, unless someone tosses theirs back from that first drop.

The bars in the new Stilt Home regions got the cutest food on the counters and adoreable decoration.

<taps forehead> You can't run out of Stilts, if you don't release them! I already saw some locations, that are absolute dream ones. But no chance, if after the pause there will also only be drops of single regions being released.

There are plenty of pictures around from when they showed off the houses for the first time and you can see on the map, that its not just sand. Its islandy: Lots of sand, little bit green towards the center.

The endless ocean next to Faraday just turned into lush green hills:

But Loghomes are "too far" away from Vics/Trads, while the Stilts are closer in terms of styles. Someone who loves trads/Vics is much more likely to also like Stilts, while finding Loghomes too dark and rustic. And people have been waiting for so long.

I find it kind of odd, that we now have to fight over stilts, when it was said they won't run out of them for days.

Solution: Sort out whatever annoying drama you have going on...? Seriously, making a thread like this on the forum could even make it worse, if whoever is behind the griefing has a troll-like joy in seeing you lose your sh*t.
