  1. I believe that was one of Tor's crazier windlights, but I can'rt remember which now- as I'm akways flipping thru times of day & windlight presets til I get what I want
  2. Looking for advice here. I know nothing about mesh or blender but in my Winchester the big room on the ground floor is the less than spectacular view, so the small room in front needs to be for sitting so I've put a kitchen & 1/2 bath in the back and I'm ok with the reults, but can anyone recommend a mesh, scripted door with frame that I could resize to look right here?
  3. Finding the Bellisseria continent to be so wonderful to photograph:
  4. I love the open feel of the houseboats- lots of flexibility for decorating and great decks- if interior design is your thing, the houseboats are great! As far as neighbors being so close, well most people will have hear and view clicked off for privacy so that likely won't be an issue. I originally wanted a houseboat, but I lucked into a house that directly fronts a beach and now that I've started playing with my yard, I wouldn't trade it for anything. The Winchester has a pretty open design with lots of windows and a balcony out back, so it feels like the best of both when it's near waterfront.
  5. Yeah my region Graff has literally only 5 parcels and... ocean to drown the lag in. I couldn't be more thrilled (and I'm finally done balancing my desire to decorate with my desire to throw out vehicles and horses whenever I please, so it's time to join the Parade of Homes 😛 )
  6. I'd love to see a small music amphitheater in a park where the LIndens can host live music events on weekends
  7. Love that yard especially- the walk lights & telescope are a cute idea!
  8. Love, love, love those lights in the kitchen!
  9. Thanks! I maxed my luck roll out for the year on this house, I think. I've kept the decor pretty low impact so I can keep a boat out / res a horse or two to go riding, etc. But I'm just in love with all the decorating goodness in the other houses I've seen- Bellisserians know how to really SQUEEEEEEZE 350 poor little (ex) prims!
  10. Thanks! The sail-able waters connecting Bellisseria to the wider world are exactly why we wanted a weekend home here. We have a larger home/ performance space on a waterplot in mainland, but navigating the inner waters of Heterocera is just too much work 😛 Lucking into a beachfront home means just "driving" the boat from our front yard into the surf. Or for our boats that are too big to res on our plot, Crab Island just to the S of us is close enough. Anyone who wants to play with the interactive map of res spots in Bellisseria, I've posted it on the side of our house and I have the security system turned off and oh... we intend to have shindigs of Baphy DJing now and again from the beach home so bring some BBQ supplies and your dancing shoes 😛
  11. I've lived in Texas 20 years or so now and I really miss the seasons changing (would be great if this happens in Bellisseria if it's not too much Mole labor). Now *driving* in snow? Not so much.
  12. Howdy neighbor! Yup, you may have seen me zooming around in between bouts of decorating, just to give my poor sore fingers a break 😛
  13. A veritable ghost army is forming at the border! Call the Night's Watch!
  14. Happy Friday, Bellisserians - may you be chillin like villains
  15. I've just seen the signs in the yards of a couple of (very well appointed) houses. I didn't think to check for whomever made the signs (should've). If anyone knows more, it might warrant another thread? I know many would prefer to just post pics here for privacy sake but it'd be a nice way to meet the neighbors and compliment peoples' decorating in world.
  16. Has anyone put together a map of the Parade of Homes tour? I've chanced on a few, but I want to see ALL you all's creativity
  17. I flew by your home yesterday as I was touring and I thought, "what a lovely and perfect addition to that style of architecture"
  18. I really want a houseboat so I can keep my sailboat out and ready for meandering the waterways, so I'll abandon my trad house the minute those new houseboats are available. I have to say tho, I'm really impressed with what a step up this property is over the last gen Linden homes tho.
  19. Next to beautiful, historic Sandy Shores in Bagworm. Lovely view and only L10250 firm. http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Increta/246/95/24
  20. Yup, I've used both cliff faces & large walls before- LORE makes some that scale nicely, have low LI & aren't too bad LODwise. But I'm still looking forward to letting my atmospherics/ environments do a lot of the work. They already are since I use firestorm & have my windlight settings in my "about land", but adding a day night cycle will make it all much more dynamic.
  21. You are a lifesaver, Whirly! Will be fiddling with this later today! Thank you so much.
  22. Yes, I do. Thanks very much for this very useful tip. I'd rather not disable malwarebytes as I only rely on it & windows defender for protection, but I will tinker with it.
