  1. I think you can submit a support case https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ . Select "marketplace" , then "General Marketplace Issues" from the dropdown menus and describe your problem.
  2. FIrst check out http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Second-Life-Quickstart/ta-p/1087919 And to get a better understanding, http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/tkb-p/English_KB%40tkb#/?sort_by=-views&page=1&restrictionStates=no_filter&labels=getting+started&breadCrumb=%5B%5D&publishRangeTime=0&attentionState=no_filter&search_type=message
  3. If you have not uninstall all the data about secondlife, you might be able to find log files of each avatar you made on your hard disc. Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\SecondLife\Avatarname\chat.txt Windows 7 and Vista: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\SecondLife\chat.txt Mac OSX: Users/Username/Library/Application Support/SecondLife/Avatarname/chat.txt
  4. You can find some here. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/WindLight_settings Or you can retrieve xml files for the windlight setting you liked from the TPV' folder and paste them to your current viewers' folder.
  5. Try the suggestions in this thread. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Avatar/How-do-I-get-my-avatar-to-stop-dancing/qaq-p/1336365 Also check wearing tab if you are not wearing some object which makes you keep on dancing.
  6. I have no idea but while ago my friend told me the same thing, ie he can't see my profile but he can see it if he goes to https://my.secondlife.com/ . (you need to add user name after "/" , like https://my.secondlife.com/Alyssa.Jessop ) So if you have to contact her, try that.
  7. http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Inventory_loss Hope this page will help you out to some extent.
  8. I don't want LL to implement some listing variation tool to do one listing with color (for example) variations of the same item because I really enjoy navigating through pages to pages of the same product with tons of color variations.

Wow, you're that offended at having been corrected that you now feel the need to pick apart my own wordings? Sigh. Just in case, I wanted to say she and I are not the same person.
  10. You can submit a support case https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ . Select "marketplace" from the dropdown menu and "General Marketplace Issues"
  11. LMAO He mentioned clearly textures were ripped out of TF2 on his ad. If he files a DMCA on your item, you could file a counter DMCA.
  12. You can request redelivery to the seller or LL. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Shopping-in-the-Second-Life-Marketplace/ta-p/700189#Section_.2.2
  13. You can ask for redeliver to the seller or to LL. For more details see the link below. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Shopping-in-the-Second-Life-Marketplace/ta-p/700189#Section_.2.2
  14. Yep, you can. You can find some offers on Land forum (http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Land-Forum/ct-p/LandForum), on marketplace or in-world.
  15. Some people look like having had the same issue as yours. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Technical/Has-anyone-who-couldnt-connect-to-sl-due-to-updating-friendslist/qaq-p/1351339 http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Technical/Login-Failed/qaq-p/980677 Not sure if those suggestions will work for you though.

    Chat History

Chat and IM logs By default, Second Life automaticallys saves local chat and IM conversations to log files on your hard drive. Log files Log files are saved to a location that depends on you operating system: Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\SecondLife\Avatarname\chat.txt Windows 7 and Vista: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\SecondLife\chat.txt Mac OSX: Users/Username/Library/Application Support/SecondLife/Avatarname/chat.txt Where Username is your system account name and Avatarname is your Second Life username. Important: You may need to enable your file browser's ability to view hidden files to access your chat logs at their default location. quoted from http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Text-chat-and-instant-messages/ta-p/700155 You'll see there are lots of text files in the folder. Each text file contains chat between you and your friend, group, and such. You can delete them if you don't need.
  17. Suki Hirano wrote: I'm guessing it illuminates a spherical area around it and not a straight beam. Thanks. Yep, you are correct, so you can't make your facelights project only in one direction.
  18. For example, someone ordered one item from seller A, two items from seller B and 3 items from seller C using shopping cart. Seller A and B' items were safely delivered but one of seller C's items wasn't delivered for some reason. In this case the order is labelled as partially failed.
  19. So you are familiar with sl clothing template. Create a new layer, fill it with white and erase the part corresponding to outer arm (upper body template) and legs (lower body template) with a tool of your choise and save them in TGA format with alpha. Login to sl and upload those files, create a new alpha and wear it to edit it. And have a look at following video.
  20. It's on KB. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/English-Knowledge-Base/Writing-item-reviews-on-the-Marketplace/ta-p/954941 3. Reviews must not violate the Second Life Terms of Service or Marketplace Listing Guidelines in any way. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: Reviews should be appropriate to the maturity rating of the listed item. Reviews should not be left by the seller of that item, whether with the selling account or an alt account. Reviews should not be written for pay, or for other rewards or compensation unless both positive and negative reviews are rewarded
  21. Yeah, I refreshed my browser at least 30 times before I could finally see my ad for the first time. lol
  22. Check your listing enhancements report. https://marketplace.secondlife.com/merchants/yourstore#/reports/listing_enhancements Even if you don't see your ad, other people may see it. If you see 0 impression there, then that means no one see your ad. You might want to file a support case.
  23. AO : http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Animation_Override Type in "sandbox" in the search box and you'll see lots of results.
  24. Like the answere to your previous question said, you have to file a support case under marketplace category > general marketplace issues to ask them why your items were removed. They won't re-list your items but will let you know what was wrong with your listings so you can safely re-list them by yourself.
