    Apart from the matter of simple courtesy, there's another reason I dislike intruders, and that is when I'm startled by a sudden appearance of an avatar or the discovery of one on arriving home. There are occasions when I accept my heart racing but those are not among them.

    It sounds as though you need to join a land group to gain access, and the landowner has yet to invite you.

    Since we've just come out of Fantasy Faire, here are some 'volunteering' ones that I can find. My memory fails as to when exactly I took active roles but the photos jog it a bit. Sitting with Desmond Shang at the Caledon RFL campsite in 2010. I think it was the next year that I was Co-Captain. Captain for the New Babbage RFL team in 2014. Volunteer Team Lead for OBR in 2015, and Stage Manager in 2016. I was an Artistic Liaison for Fantasy Faire in (I think) 2014 and 2016. This is me having the strange experience of meeting my mesh self on the Quest in 2015, where I played the Princess Flora. Playing Hermia in a Fantasy Faire mini-production in 2016.

    I dislike it intensely. I expect people to treat my home in SL as they would my home in RL, and if they don't then they receive my opinion on it.

    I rarely look at my own profile but I got a notice that I had a new follower. I haven't got many, and that's fine with me because I really don't know what to do with them. Am I supposed to feed them or buy them clothes or something?
