  1. Hello, AnneDory There might not be any more photo contests run by Linden Lab - nothing is guaranteed :matte-motes-frown: However, if there are going to be any more, you need to be keeping your eye on these blogs/forums for any details. Also, if you log in to Second Life using the official Second Life viewer, take care to read what pops up onto the screen; often there are important/interesting messages, including about upcoming contests. Your Second Life dashboard may also have announcements of any ongoing contests as and when they arise. Basically, keep your eyes peeled!
  2. I LOLd too But I think this is not the thread of the day... yet
  3. Welcome to Second Life Answers, constanta I am late to this thread, and several hours have passed since you asked your question. If you still cannot enter your accont, please click on "options" and "edit" to type in more information to your original post - any error message that appears on your screen when you try to enter your account. Are you trying to enter Second Life via a viewer, or do you mean you cannot read the web page account details? If it is the latter, try a different browser, ie if you normally use internet explorer, try mozilla Firefox.
  4. Duplicated thread ... http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Technical/why-do-i-get-a-error-message-when-i-try-to-go-to-next-page-on/qaq-p/1631745
  5. You can use the name of Governor Linden in the Abuser Name field; explain briefly and straightforwardly, as you've done here, giving the location, including the screenshot (make sure that box is ticked on the abuse report form) and someone will probably come out pretty quickly to clear it up if it is likely to be affecting sim/server performance. Edited to add: If you use the highlighter (press "ctrl" "alt" and "t" at the same time), you might see the root prims that is spawning the objects, then you can click on this to find the abuser name. Wishing you luck.
  6. Maybe an alt called gypsy will be out next with a crystal ball
  7. Welcome to Second Life Answers, AmbiiLove We can only guess why this is happening without a little bit more information from you. Please use "options" and "edit" (top right hand corner of your post) to add your full system specifications.
  8. Hello, Dalester Irene and Charolotte have given you the correct answer to the question that you ask. However, if you are getting a message on your screen that your log in has failed, and if this persists to contact Second Life Support, it might be just that a server is down, and you could try first changing your login start location (use Hissel or Ponsonby, or Itress - these are empty waterland sims - if you cannot think of a sim name offhand). Wishing you luck.
  9. There are worse characters to be, to create. I watched a television programme all about this one today: Real Life Alts
  10. Welcome to Second Life Answers, Meena Unfortunately there is no possible way of knowing which accounts you have created, through an IP address or otherwise (IP addresses can and do change). It is up to the residents to keep track of the accounts they have created. You could try looking at your hard drive to give you some clues. (look for a folder called "roaming/secondlife") - this may help you.
  11. Welcome to Second Life Answers, You must immediately submit a support case to LL. Use the category that your account has been compromised, and they will instantly put it on hold and give you further advice. https://support.secondlife.com/create-case/ Wishing you the best of luck!
  12. Hello, Tonya, There are some interesting replies on this other thread that may help you with your problem: http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Second-Life-Viewer/Mesh-is-invisible/m-p/1601903#M15253
  13. Please see the replies in this other forum thread. http://community.secondlife.com/t5/Technical/Getting-error-0xc0000005-same-message-on-different-viewers-HELPP/qaq-p/1605273
  14. Greetings Lasita, I have not been disappointed with Live Chat, but I have only contacted them when needing a region restart and for technical issues. Live Chat can only deal with technical issues. For other problems I have always come to these forums. Some problems are very commonplace, and easy to be fixed without Linden Lab intervention. If we on the forums can help you with your problem, there are plenty of people here who will try to help you. Please click on "options" at the top right hand corner of your original post to "edit". Speak in your mother tongue as you are on the Deutsch forums, or in English, or both, and you will receive an assortment of replies.
  15. Your items are not lost - they are literally just misplaced, sitting on a server waiting for you to clear your cache and relog into a quiet sim until your inventory fully loads. This can take quite a while (for 18,000 it can take up to 30 minutes, so be very patient).
  16. This needs a lot of thought. I hope I have my best day(s) to come. Congratulations on a feeling of satisfaction.
  17. It's grim, to say the least, when you get spammed by annoying things like this. I would advise you mute them. (I think LL may be expecting you to mute them), but continue to send in ARs on a weekly basis, just keeping to the basic facts, that they are using up system resources, and spamming, until hopefully someone will come and remove them. Edited to add: Live Chat don't get involved with abuse issues; they're more for technical advice.
  18. Holy sh1t, Marigold, you are soooooooo uncool. You'll be posting on an alt account next thing we know!
