Can you post a 1920 x 1080 photo in forums?

The forum will prevent you from uploading files it doesn't like, so don't worry about it. 🙂

If you post a link to a picture, like I do, it shows the pic in whatever size it was taken.  I post all my pics to Flickr, grab the link and post that here.  Like so...

The top is Paste as link instead and the bottom just posts the picture.  Same link.  The original is 5000x3000.

Quick Tip: when adding an image double-clicking it will open a window where you can set the size at which it will appear in your post.

I'll test one see what happens: 1920 x 1080....

Oh that was toooo big! Deleted that one. I think I will keep it at 800 pix wide max.

Havent posted to forums for a while however I was thinking of doing one recently and find I cant get the code anymore. On flickr I select size with the down arrow and I used to get a code to use now I get this

What am I doing wrong if anyone knows thanks

Choose the Forward/Share arrow instead of the down.

Or... do what you were doing at Flickr; Download, View all sizes, pick a size, and right-click on the Flickr image, Then select Copy Link. Paste that link into your post.

The bottom on the post box tells you how large of a file can be directly put into the post.  However, as mentioned, if you post a link to a picture, it is not actually uploading it to the LL servers and so the limit does not apply.

Nalates Urriah for some reason that does not work for me what Rowan said does I tried it out and it worked I just didn’t actually do the post but ty anyway
