CALIGULA?

Hey folks,

I've been doing some market place shopping and I see a lot of great looking clothes from a company named "Caligula." The only problem is they have no demos so I am a little weary.

Anyone know anything about the clothes from this company? Do they fit all body systems right?

So I'm not familiar with them, but I looked up their store, and it looks like it varies a lot! So this item is only for Niramyth Aesthetic:

While this one comes in the 5 standard sizes, which are basically outdated and won't fit any of the mesh bodies quite right:

And then they have a bunch that don't even say what sizes they are. My guess would be that they're standard sizes too, but it's frustrating that they have neither demos nor an inworld store. I'd say read the fine print carefully on the specific thing you want, and if it doesn't say, either skip it or message the creator to ask.

I have bought a few things for alts from that store. They are made from full perm templates so the quality is variable. Each listing will tell you what bodies the item fits, and again, because the clothing is made from templates the fit will vary with each item. Generally I think the clothes from the store are priced OK but having demos would be a lot better.

I suspected what @Stephanie Lovely mentioned being made from templates. I've bought boots and gloves for a RP outfit. I couldnt complain, my two items where decent quality. And they work for what I needed. And my purchases where from the sister store @Rowan Amore posted.

They have demos in-world.

The clothes looks fine, but I have a big issue with the rigging. With certain bodies you have to hide big chunks of your body, if not the whole body for some outfits not to bleed.

And they dont fit ALL body systems, each item will have a list of compatible bodies.

looking at the firearms in the shop the is some tell tale compression artifacting in the textures that rises a few red flags for me

Does that mean the textures were probably imported assets from some other source?

if the creator doesn't offer a demo, don't even bother.

Caligula offers demos for the newer products in world.  I have quite a few and the newer stuff is pretty decent, at least for Gianni (I dont have any other bodies so can't comment on the fit for those).

There are 2 stores, one is the Army/Military store already linked to; I havent used this store and would not trust them without demos. You'll see that the style and design of the vendor ads changes at around page 28/29 - don't go back further than that.
