I believe this is what they were referring too.

Might not be what the OP was on about but damn, I sure would like to know how to turn those annoying things OFF!

Can't believe this is not an option yet, specially with everyone trying multiple times to port into loaded event sims...trust me we all know when a port fails, we do not need the damn popup reminding us we didn't get in, its pretty bloody obvious!

I'm not sure that it's all that obvious.  Or maybe I just need lots of data.  There are several possible outcomes to a teleport attempt:  success, fail (for several reasons), a loooong wait and then success (or failure), or a logout.  I like any information that can tell me which one the system has handed me this time.

That's an option that has to stay,  I know it sounds weird, but to those of us that have bots that go places, that's very useful,  aka I drag a bot with me during the events to watch simulator performance and see which kind of av's tend to honk the place down.   sounds weird, but I picked a project back up to work on it.

Of course you can.

Follow my instructions step by step.

Locate your Client install directory.

Open file "/skins/default/xui/en/notifications.xml"

Locate the following original code:

  <notification
   icon="alertmodal.tga"
   name="CouldNotTeleportReason"
   type="alertmodal">
Teleport failed.
[REASON]
  <tag>fail</tag>
  </notification>

Modify to this:

  <notification
   icon="alertmodal.tga"
   name="CouldNotTeleportReason"
   type="notifytip">
Teleport failed.
[REASON]
  <tag>fail</tag>
  </notification>

Save and close your text editor.

Now log in and try to Teleport to a full/crowded region.

The annoying Alert is now a notification that disappears.

------------

(Do not change anything else except from the code exactly as shown above, i am not going to offer tech support.)
