This region is owned by Linden Lab.  The land is not for sale or rent.  It's assigned to the group "Linden Department of Public Works"...the Moles, the people who build things for LL.  It's a very pretty little Greek village, but I would guess it's set up as an experiment or a showcase region.

Poseidon Island is part of the recreational area known as the Sea of Fables. It's a picturesque part of the Mainland, created by the LDPW as a region for sailors to explore.  As Lindal says, the entire area is protected land -- that is, public land not available for private ownership.  If you sail, though, it's a wonderful area to rez a boat and wander.

Presumably, though, the land is owned either by Governor Linden or the LDPW. I think it's understandable for someone to wonder if they've discovered either an area of Linden Homes or a community like Bay City, and I don't see what's wrong with asking for advice here.
