You all are so kind to join in my happiness. People who don't use PCs for tasks that require great graphics don't get it. Over the past six months when I have mentioned to RL friends that I was looking for a new PC I got all kinds of comments like: "You can get a great xyz brand laptop at xyz store for $200.00. That's the one I have and love it!" Then I try to explain that I need a powerful PC that can handle heavy duty graphics, I got blank stares or the followup comment - "You're going to buy a desktop?!? Ewwwwww...they are so big and clunky; you should get a laptop." Then I posted about my new PC on an online diary site (pre-dates blogs) of which I've been a member since the late 90's. One person left a note saying, "I don't do games so I'm happy with my laptop." BTW, anyone know how to restore the default font type/size after I change it temporarily? Here on these forums, I mean.
