"Region Description: You have found yourself on the magnificent Island Kingdom built by Master builder Calein Flux.
Although the sim is currently open to the public, and we encourage others to enjoy the beauty of Sands of Time, please be aware it is privately owned and may be closed from time to time for private events or when the large-scale building is in progress." Read more on the blog.

"For months now, I’ve been using Black Dragon to take my pics for my blog.  While I’m definitely no expert, I was able to take decent shots in BD calling on my knowledge of previously taking pics in Firestorm and watching numerous YouTube videos regarding Black Dragon.  Firestorm recently updated their viewer to include EEP so I thought I’d try using it for the pics for this blog post and I’m not at all unhappy with the outcome." "I just collected the update of the Akeruka Advanced M01 male mesh head. The current version is 3.5 and I never picked up the version that came in between this one and the first one. I guess there have been some subtle changes to the rigging, which explains why my shapes for it are looking slightly weird now (no mister director, I am NOT ready for my close up!). Oh well, I do love a little update project! I won’t give you a full list of credits at the end of this post, but I’ll leave some hints along the way." Read more on the blog.

Second Sighting - 4.jpg

"Right after I visited Hiraya Township, in Heterocera (mainland), and wrote about it, the place underwent a major reform. Though some parts remained the same, the central area around the train station has been completely redesigned, which makes a big difference for the whole area. I noticed some changes, too, in the village of Amakura, linked to main Hiraya." Read more on the blog.

"fernando sdrigotti is our guest today. chris marker fan, hater of progressive rock [allegedly!!!], lover of minor literatur[s] and master of synthesizing complex thoughts in short stories that just 100% nail the experience we all share, not only since social media started to dominate everything: a sense of being in and out of place and time, a feeling of not being at home in one place but possibly any place?" Are you a novice to Second Life creating? This is a great opportunity to learn something new. Are you a seasoned virtual creator? This creative event will be a great way to socialize and challenge yourself with ways to utilize a primitive cube."

Science Circle - 3.jpg

"The current pandemic has shown us the real value of educating the public about how scientific principles are applied to practical matters. Social distancing, masks, vaccines, tracing via testing are all practical steps to take in preventing the spread of diseases and all are the product of scientific research. The steps in moving a basic science discovery to the practical use of that knowledge or innovation have always been many and varied." Read more on the blog.

Inara Pey - 16.jpg

"With the opening on the Alpine theme homes (see: Lab announces Linden Homes Chalet Theme released), Satori and all points north (including Blake Sea and Second Norway) have directly connected to Jeogeot and Sansara (and points north) via Bellisseria. This set me wondering what it would be like to complete an “epic voyage” by either boat or aircraft (or possibly both, and perhaps even with a land vehicle or two) through all or some of the connected lands."
